Speak With Chrona

Speak With Chrona
You may encounter Chrona by the Sealed Study gate during the Soul Searching quest where she asks if you could accompany her trying out her new spoils.

Be prepared with some curatives and a Mage who can reliably heal, so that you can prevent Chrona from perishing in battle.

Follow Chrona Through Putrid Copse

Follow Chrona in Putrid Copse

Follow her down to Putrid Copse where you will have to fight Stragglers littered throughout.

Defend Chrona

Defend Chrona
Be sure to keep Chrona safe throughout the quest, as she is still recovering from her injuries. Bringing along another Fighter or Warrior can help draw enemy attention away from her during these ambushes.

Slay the Gorechimera

Gorechimera
Right after Chrona loots her spoils, you will be ambushed by a Gorechimera. This would be the last escort battle with Chrona. Be sure to avoid the occasional sleep attack from the chimera as it can easily burst you down once asleep.

Loot the Cave of Spoils

Loot Spoils in Woodland Retreat

After defeating the Gorechimera, Chrona mentions that there's a trove of spoils in a cave nearby (Woodland Retreat). This section is somewhat timed, so be sure to visit that cave as soon as possible.

You can fully loot the entire dungeon for Spoils, Supplies, and Ducats. However, a Snowfoot will soon patrol the area, and you may have to fight it. Once you've fully looted it, leave the area. It may still say you have to loot the cave, but once it's fully looted, just use your Eternal Ferrystone to go to a different sub-region.
