Talk to Ilsa and Agree to Search for Skoll
Talk to Ilsa near her fire basket in the Norgandian Settlement. She explains that Skoll went out to play and hasn’t returned. Choose “Have Freki search for her pup.” and the quest starts with the objective to gather clues about where Skoll went.
Gather Clues from Dorin, Hal, and Ilsa
Speak to Dorin and he'll mention that Skoll is still a pup and thanks you for helping, and Ilsa will mention that Skoll often comes home with flowers tangled in his fur.
Hal will say that he knows where Skoll likes to play but can't explain the route. If you've finished Village Defense, Hal will volunteer to take you there. Otherwise, he will mention that he's injured and couldn't help.
Search for Skoll’s Snowdeer Bone
The bone is located at a small clearing at the foot of a grey rock wall just northeast of Norgandian Settlement, near a post tether.
It will be at the eastern edge of the clearing, near a pile of squared grey stones. Pick up Skoll’s Snowdeer Bone then head back to Norgandian Settlement.
Show the Bone to Ilsa and Give It to Freki
Return to Ilsa and show her the bone. Next, interact with Freki and choose Give bone
from the menu to give her the bone.
Follow Freki to the Cave
Freki will leave through the south gate. Keep close and follow her southwest along the base of the hills.
She stops at a rocky cleft that opens into a cave located southwest of the village. Fight off any enemies near the entrance, then go inside the cave to find Skoll.
Carry Skoll Back to the Village
Carry Skoll back to the settlement. When you get close to Ilsa, her dialogue triggers on its own, and the quest is completed.
