Are There New Vocations?

Dark Arisen Does Not Add New Vocations

New Vocations

The Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2) Dark Arisen DLC does not introduce any new vocations, keeping the launch total of 10 vocations: 4 starter vocations, 2 advanced vocations, and 4 hybrid vocations.

The first Dragon's Dogma game did not add any vocations after its first release, so it's unlikely that Dragon's Dogma 2 will ever receive post-launch vocations.

New Weapon Skills Were Added for All Vocations

New Vocation Skills

Instead, the Dark Arisen DLC does add 2 new weapon skills for each Vocation. These new skills expand the possible strategies and playstyles players can approach their vocation's build with.

To unlock weapon skills, you need to get the Offering Flame from the first Lost Rite dungeon (Devilkin Hollow) from the base game map, then spend Discipline at the corresponding vocation's Obilisk of Benediction in Norgan, the DLC map.
