List of Contents
| Ending | Prerequisite |
|---|---|
| Normal Ending | Choose to spare the corpse during The Castle in the Ice, then defeat the Fallen Dragon in Reunion. |
| True Ending | Complete Reunion, then defeat Satanachia during Into Rancor. |
| Bad Ending | Choose to destroy the corpse during The Castle in the Ice. |

To get the Dark Arisen DLC's normal ending, choose to spare the corpse at the end of The Castle in the Ice, then progress to the final story quest, Reunion, and defeat the Fallen Dragon once and for all.
In this ending, Rovall is freed from the Fallen Dragon, and Eir thanks you for saving them both. This is where the game rolls credits on the expansion. After the credits, you then return to the Norgandian Settlement but find that the entire region is now shrouded in darkness.
Should You Destroy the Corpse?

To get the secret ending, complete Reunion and unlock the normal ending first, then progress through the post-game quest Into Rancor. Defeat the secret boss Satanachia in Nifhel Depth to unlock the secret ending.
In this ending, you stop Satanachia from destroying order and plunging the entire world into darkness. Peace is restored to the Norgan region, and the skies are clear once again.

To get the bad ending, choose to destroy the corpse at the end of The Castle in the Ice. This will trigger a special cutscene and result in a Game Over, and you're then forced to reload your save from before making the decision in order to continue progressing.
In the cutscene, you will see the fulfillment of the nightmare the Arisen had during Chilling Tidings.
While not exactly an ending, you can also trigger a special cutscene by dying during the Satanachia boss fight in Into Rancor.
To get the secret bad ending, complete Reunion and unlock the normal ending first. Progress through the post-game quest Into Rancor and reach Satanachia in Nifhel Depth. If you die during the boss fight, a special cutscene will trigger in which Satanachia pulverizes you. This will result in a Game Over, and you can reload your save from before the boss fight.

The True Ending is considered the best ending in the Dark Arisen DLC, as it ties up all the loose ends in the expansion's main plot.
While Eir and Rovall are reunited at the end of Reunion, the Norgan region is shrouded in darkness, leaving you with a cliffhanger if you end the game there. Completing the post-game quest Into Rancor allows you to stop Satanachia from plunging the world further into darkness and restore peace to the region.
