Beyond Ruin-Night Walkthrough: How to Get Eir's Sword and Shield
Beyond Ruin-Night is a post-game quest in the Dark Arisen DLC of Dragon’s Dogma 2 (DD2). This guide will show you the quest walkthrough, rewards, and how to get Eir's sword and shield!

Read the Letter at the Inn
After being informed by Dwayne that you've received a letter from Eir, read the letter on the bed in the left corner of the Norgandian Inn. Eir has requested your assistance in checking on Lorade Castle.
Head to Lorade Castle
Fast travel to the Lorade Castle Portcrystal in the northeastern part of the Norgan region.
Before moving forward, make sure to prepare and cook food, as you are about to enter a boss rush inside Lorade Castle.
Survive Boss Rush Inside the Castle
When you're ready, enter Lorade Castle to begin a boss rush, where you'll face four bosses one at a time. Defeat the bosses and survive the boss rush!
Loot Eir's Sword and Shield
After defeating the bosses, loot Eir's sword and shield, the Brand of Fealty and Aegis of Allegiance, next to the throne.
Return to the Norgandian Settlement
Return to the inn, and Dwayne will inform you that you've received another letter. Head inside the inn and read the letter from the same spot to complete the quest.
Note that you can also loot the Arcanist's Tome next to the letter.

Complete Into Rancor, Then Wait for a Day
To unlock Beyond Ruin-Night, you must first complete the post-game quest, Into Rancor. After the quest, wait for a day and Dwayne should approach you about a letter that Eir sent to you.
If Dwayne doesn't approach you after completing Into Rancor and waiting for a day, try leaving the Norgandian Settlement and then fast travelling back.

Eir's Sword and Shield
You can get Eir's sword and shield, the Brand of Fealty and Aegis of Allegiance, from the quest. Both weapons are only available for the Fighter vocation, since Eir was a Fighter herself.
Arcanist's Tome
At the end of the quest, you also receive the Arcanist's Tome, which allows your Pawn to use grimoires placed in their inventory regardless of their vocation and replicate Eir's unique fighting style.
