Every Vocation has at least two new Weapon Skills to unlock in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2) Dark Arisen DLC. Learn all the new Weapon Skills for every Vocation in this guide!

The Warfarer Vocation has no new Weapon Skills.

All the new weapon skills from the Dark Arisen DLC can be obtained in the Norgan region, via the Obelisks of Benediction scattered throughout the map. To unlock the Advanced Forms of base Weapon Skills, use an Offering Flame obtained from Lost Rites Dungeons at the corresponding Obelisk.

New Fighter Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Whirlwind Strike Skill Effect:
Charges toward a foe and delivers a flurry of slashes. Can follow up with a powerful strike that may knock the target off balance.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Fighter's Obilisk of Benediction.
Hurricane Strike Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Whirlwind Strike that inflicts greater harm.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Fighter's Obilisk of Benediction.
Shield Precision Skill Effect:
Upon activation, perfectly parry all oncoming attacks. Stamina rapidly drains when active.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Fighter Obilisk and defeat the Fighter Maister's spirit.

New Archer Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Falcon Arrow Skill Effect:
Kicks off a foe, launching the user backward and firing an arrow in the same motion. If the target is downed or off balance, the user jumps directly above them, unleashing a devastating shot.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Archer's Obilisk of Benediction.
Kite Arrow Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Falcon Arrow that inflicts greater harm.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Archer Obelisk with Falcon Arrow unlocked.
Cloudburst Shot Skill Effect:
Charge to shoot an arrow in the air, raining down arrows at the targetted area of effect.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Archer Obilisk and defeat the Archer Maister's spirit.

New Mage Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Virtuous Bolt Skill Effect:
Summons divine spirits that add holy spellshots to all core skills with magickal bursts cast with the staff or archistaff, and spellshots that pierce multiple targets to charged core skills.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Mage's Obilisk of Benediction.
Exalted Bolt Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Virtuous Bolt that extends the duration of the divine spirits’ summoning.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Mage's Obilisk of Benediction.
Benediction Skill Effect:
Sacrifices max HP to cast a spell to all allies that automatically revives them if they are downed.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Mage Obilisk and defeat the Mage Maister's spirit.

New Thief Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Fanged Schism Skill Effect:
Unleashes an upward strike before detonating an explosion. Holding down the activation button delivers a leaping slash before detonating.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Thief's Obilisk of Benediction.
Fanged Rift Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Fanged Schism that inflicts greater harm.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Thief's Obilisk of Benediction.
Combustive Caper Skill Effect:
Draw a trail of fire on the ground the blade. Upon finishing the charge, the fire trail explodes and damages enemies near it.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Thief Obilisk and defeat the Thief Maister's spirit.

New Warrior Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Iron Cleave Skill Effect:
Plows through foes while scoring the ground with the blade before unleashing a mighty upward slash. Damage from hostile targets is reduced during the attack, enabling the user to charge boldly.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Warrior's Obilisk of Benediction.
Steel Cleave Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Iron Cleave that inflicts greater harm.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Warrior's Obilisk of Benediction.
Blood Pact Skill Effect:
Upon activation, the user enters an enraged mode that significantly increases resistance, reduces charge time, and removes the timing for consecutive Mighty Sweeps. HP constantly drains while active.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Warrior Obilisk and defeat the Warrior Maister's spirit.

New Sorcerer Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Brontide Skill Effect:
Conjures a whip-like bolt of lightning for the caster to wield. Lashed targets may be rendered unconscious or forced to flinch. Other skills can be employed while casted.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Mystic Spearhand's Obilisk of Benediction.
High Brontide Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Brontide. Conjures a longer lasting whip of lightning that inflicts greater harm and consumes less Stamina when attacking.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Sorcerer's Obilisk of Benediction.
Chilling Embrace Skill Effect:
Unleashes a freezing aura around the user, freezing hostiles caught in the area of effect. Reduces user vulnerability.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Sorcerer Obilisk and defeat the Sorcerer Maister's spirit.

New Mystic Spearhand Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Bataille Twinne Skill Effect:
Conjures a shade of the caster that unleashes a flurry of slashes for a period of time.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Mystic Spearhand's Obilisk of Benediction.
Bataille Idole Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Bataille Twinne. The shade remains for an extended duration and its attacks inflict greater harm.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Mystic Spearhand's Obilisk of Benediction.
Hindridge Mirke Skill Effect:
The user charges and summons a gravitational pull on the ground, slowing down hostiles. Boosts diving attack damage after activation.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Mystic Spearhand Obilisk and defeat the Maister's spirit.

New Magick Archer Weapon Skills

Weapon Skill Details
Shadebind Bolt Skill Effect:
Looses a magickal arrow that slows a single target’s movement for an extended period of time. Accumulation of debilitations is increased for slowed hostile targets.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Magick Archer's Obilisk of Benediction.
Shadefetter Bolt Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Shadebind Bolt that consumes less Stamina and extends the duration of the slowing effect.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Magick Archer Obilisk of Benediction.
Harmonic Pentad Skill Effect:
Shoot bolts to allies to imbue them with Holy Damage. Deals Holy Damage to hostiles.
How to Unlock:
After completing the Dark Arisen main quest, return to the Magick Archer Obilisk and defeat the Maister's spirit.

New Trickster Weapon Skills

Curing Cloud Skill Effect:
Consumes HP to launch a ranged attack that restores Simulacrum health.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Trickster's Obilisk of Benediction.
Diverting Fume Skill Effect:
Takes aggro away from your Simulacrum.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 2500 Dcp at the Trickster's Obilisk of Benediction.
Vitalising Vapor Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Curing Cloud that travels faster and farther.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Trickster's Obilisk of Benediction.
Rousing Aroma Skill Effect:
An advanced form of Diverting Fume. Augments the Strength of pawns in the party while in effect, and boosts the simulacrum’s Health during possession.
How to Unlock:
Purchase for 5000 Dcp at the Trickster's Obilisk of Benediction.
Dream Giant's Pommel Skill Effect:
Summon giant Simulacrum limbs that strike hostiles for massive health and knockdown damage.
How to Unlock:
