Head to the Campsite
From the Norgandian Settlement, head north toward the snowy area. Just follow the main path uphill and beware of enemies along the way.
Proceed through the bridge by the river and enter the cave to the right of the Portcrystal to find the Rivercave Campground. You can use the nearby Portcrystal to fast travel to and from the area.
Make for the Mountain Stronghold
| 1 | Continuing north, climb up the ruined stairs on your left along the frozen river, then head to the right to reach the Mountain Stronghold. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Enter through the main gate and take the stairs in the middle to reach a doorway next to a Riftstone. |
| 3 | Before moving forward, make sure to prepare, as you're about to enter a dragon boss fight. When you're ready, enter the hall to trigger a cutscene! |
Repel the Dragon
Despite the dragon's daunting HP bars, you don't actually need to defeat it. You only need to remove its two front limbs (which takes up around 2-3 HP bars) for a scripted event to play out.
With that, focus on attacking the dragon's limbs one by one to bring it down. The boss can also summon zombie minions, so it's best to use powerful AoE skills, such as Maelstrom and Salamander, for crowd control.
Report Back to Dorin
After dealing with the dragon, you'll find yourself back in the Norgandian Settlement. Leave the house to trigger a cutscene, then talk to Dorin afterward to complete the quest!
