How to Open Beorcan

The Beorcan Stronghold lies west of Valgr Ravine, Norgan, in the Dark Arisen DLC of Dragon’s Dogma 2 (DD2). Learn more about the stronghold's location and rewards in this guide!

Beorcan Stronhold Location

You can find the Beorcan Stronhold at the west side of Valgr Ravine. It is also the pathway for you to access Pupil's path.

You will officially encounter this place during the Seeking the Sage quest, in which you will need to pass through the area using heatstones. If you continue to solve the Sage's Riddle of the Soul, you would be able to clear out the harsh blizzard, making the area easier to navigate.

Right at the western side of the Beorcan Stronghold is the massive gate with a note. Use the Beorcan's Twinned Keys here so you can access the loot inside.

How to Open Beorcan Locked Gate

Obtain Beorcan's Twinned Keys

First Twinned Key

You can find the first Beorcan's Twined Key under this tunnel that leads to the chest right in the middle of the room.

First Key inside the chest
Just head down the opening through the ladder and you can find the Twinned key inside the chest.

Second Key Location
The Second Twinned Key is also accessed through the underground, but you have to walk through and climb to get it. The opening should not be far from the first.

Through the Hall and Up the Ladder
After heading down, walk through the hallway and find the second ladder that leads up.
2.3
Second Key inside the chest
Up the ladder should be the chest sitting beside the locked gate. Just examine the chest to loot the second Twinned Key.

・Treatise of Advertence
・Liquid Vim
・Wakestone x1
・Hound's Scent Pouch x1
・Abandoned Supplies (Rare) x3
・Lvl 3 Spoils x3

Once you open the locked gate, you will be rewarded with a bunch of chests that are scattered around the area. Be sure to collect them all!

The most significant finds would be the augments Treatise of Fortuity and Treatise of Advertence, along with some rare items and spoils.
