List of Contents
This Endfield tier list ranks all characters from SS-Tier to C-Tier based on their combat strength and team utility, updated as of October 2026.
Operators are ranked in order from left to right, top to bottom, with top left as the highest within the tier.
The strongest characters in the current meta are Arcane, Gilberta, Zhuang Fangyi, Rossi, Camille, Tangtang, Si, Mi Fu, and Perlica.
Arcane sits at the top of SS Tier due to her sheer value, able to perform both as a strong DPS in her INT Form and as a versatile and flexible support in her WILL Form. Her INT Form's damage rivals that of the current strongest hypercarries, while her WILL Form's support can benefit plenty of Arts teams due to her added Inflictions, debuffs, and crowd-control.
Zhuang Fangyi, Rossi, and Mi Fu are the best DPSes in the current state of the game. Zhuang Fangyi boasts incredible damage and range, Rossi has unmatched versatility in her team options that allow her to find a team regardless of an account's state, and Mi Fu is easy-to-use with unmatched burst damage due to her double Crush mechanic.
Gilberta, Si, and Tangtang are the strongest supports right now, able to provide strong buffs, debuffs and crowd-control that can significantly elevate the teams they take part in. Tangtang and Si additionally boast high damage with their skills, consolidating both the sub-dps and support roles in their kits.
Perlica and Camille boast incredible flexibility as enablers. Perlica's on-demand Electrification fits plenty of Arts teams, and can easily activate Gilberta's Combo Skill for Hybrid teams. Camille's buff is Link, a rare and undiluted buff that can be enjoyed by any team he can support, and is able to provide two of them to stack for hypercarries, or to provide for both the main DPS and Sub-DPS of the team comp.
| Character | Tier Update & Explanation |
|---|---|
Si
Si has plenty to offer by herself. She singlehandedly elevates Heat and Cryo teams with her Amp buffs (especially Heat, whose only other source of Heat Amp is Antal), alleviates single-target issues with her Inksoul mechanic, can switch her Inflictions that benefit the Strikers in her Heat and Cryo teams, leans towards a more DPS role herself via her Combo Skill, and can reduce Combo Skill cooldowns to smooth out rotations that are otherwise awkward to pull off. With an incredibly loaded kit and the ability to perform in both the Support and DPS roles, Si easily reaches SS tier in value and is an incredibly strong pick-up for those looking to upgrade their Heat or Cryo teams. |
Fluorite
We've been undermining Fluorite's value for a long time now, primarily due to her atrocious Combo Skill cooldown. However, her ability to apply Inflictions without costing SP has proven to be more valuable than it seems, especially as Cryo and Nature DPSes tend to want plenty of it to either enable their abilities, like with Last Rite, fill their energy, like with Yvonne, or to boost their damage, like with Si and Typhoeus. While she definitely still suffers from her long cooldown, the Qingbo set can somewhat alleviate this issue, all the while providing plenty of ULT Gain to use her Ultimate for even more Inflictions. However, we also do agree that she has nothing else to offer other than stacking Inflictions. She has her uses, but she's also incredibly replaceable in her role by other characters who provide far more utility, such as Arcane, Tangtang, or Last Rite. At the very least, she deserves exiting C-tier in our tier list as she isn't complete unusable, but she definitely does not provide enough to warrant reaching A-tier or higher. |
| September 24, 2026 Changes | |
|---|---|
Purrchena | Purrchena performs slightly better than other Defenders in the game. In comparison, she has more to offer than the Ember and Snowshine with her crowd-control, Stagger, and Arts Susceptibility on top of the Protection and healing. She's also a cheaper and more reliable source of Nature Infliction, since your other options are limited to 6-stars or Fluorite. However, her kit involves a lot of luck and randomness in her Combo Skill and Ultimate, especially when trying to get the Ambassador's Special gift in her Ultimate to apply Arts Susceptibility to enemies. This significantly diminishes her value as a support because of other operators who are guaranteed to apply an Infliction and a debuff against enemies. She sits fine at A Tier as a viable alternative for a Nature support unit. |
Yvonne | Yvonne is still a strong Cryo unit, especially when you immediately have access to her Ultimate. However, she's still falling behind in the current meta. She deals most of her damage with her Ultimate and favors single-target enemies, which isn't favorable for game modes like Echoes of War where you start with 0 energy. It's even more concerning when a stage like Age of Axes in Echoes of War requires you to clear the stage within a short time. Compared to other characters like Zhuang Fangyi and Arcane, Yvonne has a harder time dealing decent enough damage without her Ultimate to be a viable option. She is demoted to S Tier because she's falling behind in damage, and her niche as a single-target boss-killer is easily overshadowed by other carries that offer far more damage and can perform better in many other scenarios. |
| September 2, 2026 Changes | |
Typhoeus | Typhoeus overlaps with INT Arcane's role as the Nature Hypercarry, albeit with far less team options due to the lack of reliable sources of Nature Infliction (other than Arcane herself). This hurts her account value a bit, as she somewhat depends on whether or not you own Arcane, as she'd be incredibly clunky to play otherwise. We don't believe this to be a long-term issue at least, as Purrchena's release may significantly affect her dependence on Arcane, as the livestream showcased her Battle Skill as a cheap source of Nature Infliction. When enabled, Typhoeus performs incredibly well, though her damage isn't as impressive as recent carries with high sustained damage like Zhuang Fangyi's Ultimate mode or burst damage like Mi Fu's double Crush. Her lack of reliance in her Ultimate translates well to Echoes of War at least, though other carries can still get the job done with some build tweaks (like prioritizing ULT Gain over damage). We agree that Typhoeus isn't a "must-have" at the moment (especially compared to those in SS Tier), and doubly so for those without Arcane. Even then, those who do own Arcane can have her fill the role of a Nature DPS instead. As she's strong but not incredibly game-changing, she sits at S+ as per our criteria. |
| August 9, 2026 Changes | |
Liino | Liino debuts in S+ tier, as she has incredible buffs that can benefit virtually any team on paper, able to find a place for herself as a comfortable and low-maintenance flex slot due to her low SP consumption and versatile buffs. In practice, however, she shines in Mono Electric teams and nowhere else. Even then, she isn't a hard requirement for her teams like Chen and Xaihi are. She's placed in S+ tier for now as she still boasts incredible versatility, eclipsing even Ardelia's status as the plug-in support for accounts that are still starting off, or for Arts Teams that are lacking one of their core supports. |
Laevatain | Laevatain is still among the best AoE DPSes in the game, if not the best overall. However, her damage has been particularly lacking even with Camille's help, and her range does not make up for that, especially nowadays where higher DPS is rewarded by virtue of Echoes of War's release. She is demoted down to S+ Tier for now as she isn't a “must-have” as she was before, but she can still see some use in content where her range actually matters, like in certain Umbral Monument stages. |
Mi Fu | The whole reason why Mi Fu was sitting at S+ Tier for the longest time was because of Endmin's existence. Previously, there wasn't any good reason to pickup Mi Fu when Endmin does the exact same job and uses the exact same teams. With the release of Echoes of War, Mi Fu skyrockets in value as she is now rewarded in what she does best: damage. There wasn't an incentive to deal more damage than what's necessary to clear the stage until Echoes of War came along, and now that it's here, Mi Fu becomes an easy SS Tier due to the sheer amount of damage she can bring to the table. |
Ardelia | Ardelia is still one of the most versatile supports in the game on paper, but she struggles finding a place for herself in the meta outside of Heat teams. Even then, with Laevatain slowly falling off, her value falls off in proportion as well, as she's the only carry that truly “wants” Ardelia in her team. The release of Liino hurts Ardelia's value as well. They're both general flex slot supports, albeit Liino needs significantly less SP to gain anything out of her. With a small amount of SP, Liino can start healing and buffing the party with near-permanent uptime, deal decent off-field damage, restore SP via her Talent, and bolster it all even more with her Ultimate. Ardelia, on the other hand, needs to use a full SP bar to heal and apply her Susceptibility debuffs, which can hinder teams with stricter SP management. Her healing is more of an emergency heal button as well, but her heal amount is inconsistent as it is tied to RNG. Now that we have more supports in the roster, Ardelia's issues have become more apparent. She's still in S Tier as she's still an undoubtedly good and versatile character to have, but will likely see more demotions as better supports are released in the future. |
Wulfgard | Wulfgard's identity has mostly been the best Heat Infliction source for Laevatain. Arcane's release hurt his value as she can do a similar job as him but with far more utility, as she has access to support weapons like Detonation Unit to boost Laevatain's damage while providing Melting Flame stacks. He still sits in S tier as he can still do his job well, but will ultimately see less use in accounts that possess Arcane. |
Yvonne | Similar to Laevatain, Yvonne's damage hasn't been keeping up in the current meta, even after Arcane's release. Her damage is both backloaded and single-target, which doesn't bode well in the current endgame modes where Ultimate Energy starts at 0 and multiple enemies are almost always present that can hinder her targeting, or body block the damage meant for the boss or elite. Yvonne still does fine when you can solve her issues with other operators. But she's definitely eclipsed by more recent hypercarries like Zhuang Fangyi and Arcane, who can deal decent enough damage outside of their Ultimate, will annihilate everything once they gain access to it, and aren't strictly single-target to boot. |

Arcane
+ Can play as a DPS or Support
+ Provides her own Amp buff in INT Form + Provides crowd-control in WILL Form + Can apply Cryo and Nature Susceptibility + General Arts Infliction Support in WILL Form
- Low uptime and duration on Susceptibility debuff
- Reliant on signature weapon than most characters |
Arcane offers immense value when obtained. Her INT Form is on par with the current hypercarries, and her WILL Form is comparable to the current strongest support, Gilberta.
Her INT Form boasts high damage and AoE, but is centered more on burst windows like Rossi instead of consistent, high damage like Zhuang Fangyi. Her WILL Form trades burst potential for utility; it provides a much weaker Susceptibility debuff than Gilberta but provides plenty of additional Arts Inflictions for the team.
As she performs extremely well both as a DPS and a Support, Arcane easily sits at the top of SS-Tier due to the sheer value she can provide to an account. She can be a strong DPS for those who missed out on key carries like Zhuang Fangyi, but may also serve as a versatile support for those who missed out on Gilberta.
Gilberta
+ Strong crowd-control
+ Can apply Arts Susceptibility + Has minor healing + Provides an Ultimate gain buff + Core unit for Hybrid teams
- Loses healing in single-target content
- Wants Vulnerable to maximize Arts Susceptibility debuff |
Gilberta offers rare crowd-control and potent debuffs, placing high in the tier list due to her support capabilities. She features one of the strongest Arts Susceptibility in the game, and has the rare niche of crowd control that eases the positioning and grouping in her teams.
Her ability to apply Vulnerable, Arts Infliction, and the innate access to Corrosion allows her to perform outside of Arts teams. This is especially prominent in Hybrid teams with Rossi, where she serves as one of the key Operators to enable the archetype.
Due to her capabilities, Gilberta arguably becomes one of the most valuable character in any account, as her existence alone can enable plenty of team comps or elevate plenty of teams with her support.
Zhuang Fangyi
+ Premier Electric Hypercarry with flexible team options
+ Can supply her own buffs + Long Ultimate duration
- Electric Infliction from the team is mandatory
- Incredibly SP hungry - Struggles to charge Ultimate |
Zhuang Fangyi is the strongest DPS currently, boasting exceptional damage with decent range. Her Ultimate's long duration translates well in both single-target and multi-wave content, which are frequent in endgame challenges like Umbral Moment and Contingency Contract.
However, she does suffer from an incredibly long setup period by virtue of her high Ultimate cost. Her playstyle is incredibly greedy as well, requiring as much SP as possible to both deal damage and charge her Ultimate.
The setup pays off well, as she's arguably peerless in damage during her Ultimate. Additionally, her team options allow for some flexibility, allowing players to tailor her comp to suit the stage's mechanics or their playstyle.
Rossi
+ Core unit for Hybrid teams
+ High Vulnerable application + Can increase enemies' Physical and Heat DMG taken + Flexible damage output; can burst with Ultimate or deal sustained damage with Battle and Combo Skills
- Reliant on Gilberta for ease-of-use in teams
Rossi is the most flexible DPS available currently, boasting the highest number of team options that can be swapped around to fit the player's liking. She can play either as a hypercarry with a focus on her Ultimate, or a sub-DPS for Heat and Physical carries due to her Razor Clawmark debuff.
For her sub-DPS role, building a team with Rossi requires keeping her needs in check, requiring players to build around her as if she's the hypercarry. However, this effort has an incredible payoff simply due to how strong Rossi is as a unit, able to supplement her own buffs and debuffs while keeping enemies debuffed to boost the rest of the team's DPS.
Si
+ Can provide Heat and Cryo Amp
+ Unique ability to reduce one ally's Combo Skill CD + Can deal high damage while supporting the team
- Limited to Heat and Cryo teams
Si is primarily a support limited to Heat and Cryo teams owing to the element-specific Amp buffs in her Ultimate. Her Inflictions benefit the Strikers present in either archetypes as well, and her Inksoul alleviates single-target issues from carries like Yvonne or Last Rite.
She has a unique ability to reduce the Combo Skill of whoever is in the first slot of the team, which can drastically expedite rotations without causing any gameplay interferences, such as applying unwanted Inflictions. This is especially relevant in Echoes of War, where the timer matters to attain max stars.
Camille
+ Can apply Heat Susceptibility
+ Can apply Weaken + Can provide plenty of Link buffs + Core Vanguard for Heat teams
- Primarily limited to support Heat carries
Camille is the premier Vanguard of Heat teams, able to apply the Heat Susceptibility and Weaken debuffs to enemies and supply the Link buff to the team.
While seemingly limited to Heat teams due to the debuff and buff he provides, his Combo Skill is flexible enough to be triggered by any Arts Teams to gain his universal Link buff. This degree of versatility grants him a higher spot in the tier list, as Vanguards tend to be incredibly specific to their teams, where their usability tends to fall off outside of their niche.
Tangtang
+ Potent crowd-control
+ Can apply Arts Susceptibility + Can deal high damage while supporting the team
- Her maximum debuff is backloaded, as it requires casting her Combo Skill twice
Tangtang is a versatile character to have for virtually any account, as she can fulfill the role of a DPS, Sub-DPS, or support. Players who missed key DPS characters like Laevatain can still pull for Tangtang to play as a hypercarry, and those who have Last Rite and Yvonne still finds value in Tangtang as she can be relegated to a Sub-DPS or support.
Mi Fu
+ Plays as a Physical Crush DPS
+ Can add her own Vulnerable + Can inflict Physical Susceptibility
- Has specific requirements for her skills, which can complicate rotation or team building
- Strict Vulnerable requirement is easily hindered by stage or boss mechanics |
Mi Fu is the strongest Crush DPS currently, primarily due to her ability to apply her own Physical Susceptibility and trigger Crush twice in a row with 100 SP.
She solves plenty of the issues that are present in other Crush carries. She can stack her own Vulnerability, unlike Endmin, and she isn't limited by cooldowns for her Crush like Da Pan. She can apply her own Physical Susceptibility as well in a small AoE, something not present in either carry.
Perlica
+ Flexible unit for any Arts teams
+ Can forcibly apply Electrification via Combo Skill, which only requires a Final Strike
- Short uptime on Electrification
Perlica is one of the core units of Electric teams, able to apply Electric Infliction and Electrification to enable or trigger her teammates' Combo Skills. Outside of this, Perlica's on-demand Electrification can reliably increase any Arts damage dealt by the team or trigger Gilberta's Combo Skill for Hybrid teams.
Additionally, as an Arts Unit character, her access to Stanza of Memorials naturally adds to her value as a support. Her Ultimate deals pure damage, which can trigger its ATK buff with zero consequences, as it does not apply any Infliction that could potentially hinder rotations or trigger any unwanted Arts Reactions.
Laevatain
+ Strong AoE DPS
+ Boasts high damage and wide range + Has innate Heat RES Ignore to brute force content
- Team dependent, requires Combustion and Corrosion from the team
- Requires a lot of Heat Infliction from the team |
Laevatain is an exceptional DPS, featuring high damage and a wide range, in addition to an accessible team available for all players.
While Laevatain excels in clearing mobs, her single-target damage is great as well, and she can perform the same rotation in both scenarios. This makes Laevatain easy to play, allowing players to focus on boss mechanics rather than optimizing team rotations.
Chen Qianyu
+ Great Vulnerable applicator for Physical teams
+ Decent personal damage, consolidating both the Vulnerability Support and Sub-DPS roles
- Limited to Physical teams
Chen Qianyu is currently the best source of Vulnerable stacks, able to apply Lift via her Combo Skill and Battle Skill. She is currently the core unit of Physical teams, as these teams rely on having multiple Vulnerable stacks to maximize their kits to trigger Crush or Breach.
Chen offers crowd control with her constant Lifts, able to juggle enemies in midair, trivializing fights such as Rampaging Shields in Umbral Monument.
Additionally, her damage is solid as well and provides a decent source of Stagger via her low-cost Ultimate. This can be further boosted by the Swordmancer set, allowing Chen to expedite triggering Stagger windows with her skills and Ultimate.
Pogranichnik
+ High SP generation
+ Can damage from off-field via Ultimate + Can apply Breach
- Consumes Vulnerable stacks to maximize SP generation and damage
Pogranichnik is the premier Vanguard for Physical Teams as he can buff the team via Frontiers set, Fervent Morale, and his weapon options, apply Breach with his Battle Skill, and perform off-field damage with his Ultimate, on top of generating SP for the team.
Typhoeus
+ Unique Arts Burst DMG DPS
+ Attacks in midair, gaining immunity to most melee attacks
- Incredibly limited weapon options
- Cannot apply her own Nature Infliction to enable her own kit |
Typhoeus is the premier Striker hypercarry of the Nature element, heavily relying on her teammates to provide Nature Inflictions for her Signs and later, Hunter Arrows.
Her direct Arts Burst DMG may allow her to bypass Skill DMG related penalties from Umbral Monument or Contingency Contract, while her aerial gameplay grants her near immunity to most melee attacks.
Liino
+ Low SP Consumption
+ Provides ATK Buff and healing + Decent flex slot
- Lacks weapon options
Liino is an incredibly strong support for Electric teams and doubles as an incredibly versatile support for almost any team, with a preference for Arts Teams. She has incredibly low SP consumption to activate her support capabilities, where she can supply a universal ATK buff for the team, provide AoE healing, deal off-field damage, and even restore SP.
Xaihi
+ Core support for Cryo teams
+ Can apply Arts Amp, Cryo Amp, and increased Cryo DMG Dealt
- Limited to Cryo teams
Xaihi is a core unit in Cryo Teams, supplying Cryo-related buffs and debuffs for the carries to utilize. Xaihi is currently irreplaceable in her respective teams, as she simultaneously plays the role of a buffer, debuffer, and healer.
Avywenna
+ Decent Electric DPS
+ Can apply Electric Susceptibility
- Damage will suffer when played incorrectly
- Damage is backloaded |
Avywenna is a carry in Electric teams, boasting strong burst damage when played correctly. She can apply her own Electric Susceptibility to boost her own damage with her Talent, able to coexist with Electrification and either Corrosion or Arts Susceptibility present in her teams.
Currently, Avywenna is one of the strongest carries in Umbral Monument, able to shine in nearly all stages due to her strong and controlled damage output. While her backloaded damage requires plenty of setup, players can easily adjust their rotations to time her burst damage when it matters the most, such as in weakpoint phases.
However, Zhuang Fangyi eclipses Avywenna, especially due to the similarities in their team building options. While they can be played in the same team, other team options can work with less investment, significantly lowering her value in accounts that own Zhuang Fangyi.
Ardelia
+ Can apply Arts and Physical Susceptibility
+ Can forcibly apply Corrosion
- Healing requires active pickup in the field
- Not the best option for most teams |
Ardelia is a flexible healer who can slot into many teams. Her debuffs are universal and have a long duration, her Combo Skill can be triggered by anyone, and her healing is enough for the current content.
While boasting incredible flexibility and the title of the best sustain option in the game, she falls behind other options as she is never the best-in-slot unit outside of Heat teams.
Last Rite
+ Strong Cryo DPS
+ Can apply Cryo Susceptibility
- Team dependent; wants a lot of Cryo Infliction from her team
- Strict Cryo Infliction requirement is easily hindered by stage or boss mechanics |
Last Rite is a single-target carry that can apply her own debuffs to boost her DPS, and boasts strong burst damage with the right rotation. She can be played on-field or off-field if players wish, as her Battle Skill can be triggered by anyone performing a Final Strike.
However, Last Rite has a strict requirement of 3 or more Cryo Inflictions to perform her burst combo, severely limiting her team options. While she performs well as a single-target Cryo DPS, her multiple restrictions make her far less flexible in both team building and rotations.
Yvonne
+ Strong Cryo DPS with flexible team options
+ Has minor crowd-control via Solidification + Can clear RE-Crisis bosses in one rotation with the right investment
- Primarily single target
- Struggles when mobs are scattered - Her best teams encounter SP issues due to the lack of a Vanguard - Underperforms in game modes that start with no energy |
Yvonne excels in single-target scenarios, bursting down Elites and Bosses with her Ultimate, while offering some crowd-control via Solidification. She can buff her own damage against enemies with an active Cryo Infliction or Solidification, further increasing her damage potential as a carry.
With the proper investment, Yvonne can trivialize any boss content in the game, namely RE-Crisis. She can speedrun boss fights in one rotation, allowing players to easily gain trimmed medals with the right setup.
While she's lacking in AoE compared to other DPSes, her team options can somewhat make up for her own shortcomings with the added bonus of crowd-control with her Solidification.
Endministrator
+ Can play as a Physical DPS
+ Can support via Realspace Stasis talent + Excels in single-target
- Can only apply Crush, requiring Vulnerable management
The Endministrator is a Physical DPS that can apply Crush, buff their own Attack, and apply a Physical DMG Taken debuff. They are a strong and easy to use carry, able to perform a burst of damage in a short time by simply triggering Crush or casting Ultimate on an enemy encased in Originium Crystals.
Moreover, Endministrator's second potential allows them to buff the team when their Essence Disintegration talent is triggered. This is especially strong in Physical teams, as nearly all members of the team can contribute decently to the total damage per rotation against an enemy.
Notably, Endmin can only apply Crush. While they can initiate the first Vulnerable stack, they require the rest of the team to apply Vulnerable stacks to maximize the Crush damage, which warrants a bit of planning and SP management.
Arclight
+ High Combo Skill frequency
+ Decent SP generation for Electric teams
- Consumes Electrification to generate SP
Arclight is the Vanguard of Electric teams, able to buff the team with the Frontiers set and her Wildland Trekker Talent. She has a high frequency of SP generation and can convert Electric Infliction into Electrification via Ultimate, useful in triggering Combo Skills such as Zhuang Fangyi's, Avywenna's, or her own.
While her Wildland Trekker Talent is a strong buff in paper, it often goes unused in practice, especially when playing her with Zhuang Fangyi who wants all the SP. Additionally, triggering it requires a net loss of 140-210 SP as well, which is counterintuitive for a Vanguard whose job is to generate SP for the team.
Wulfgard
+ Great Heat Infliction applicator
+ Can play as a Heat/Combustion DPS
- Heat Infliction application may suffer when played incorrectly
Wulfgard can be played as either an Infliction support or a Combustion carry. He can easily apply two stacks of Heat Inflictions to set up stronger Arts Reactions, inflict Arts Burst damage to trigger Combo Skills, or use his own Combo Skill to proc Combustion and deal high DoT in an Arts Intensity build.
However, he lacks any utility outside of his Inflictions as a support from both his kit and weapon options. His damage as a hypercarry isn't up to par with actual carries like Laevatain, on top of needing micromanagement to time his nuke while maximizing his Combustion DoT.
Lifeng
+ Can apply Physical Susceptibility and Link
+ Has decent personal damage
- Can be easily knocked out of his long animations when timed incorrectly
Lifeng can apply Physical Susceptibility and Link to support the team, as well as inflict Knock Down to provide additional Vulnerable stacks. His kit allows him to deal damage while providing support, and offers some crowd-control in his Ultimate.
While Lifeng shines in sustainless Physical teams, he can still be replaced by Ardelia due to her ability to heal and apply a stronger Physical Susceptibility. However, his Link and personal damage still hold value, as Physical teams tend to have the whole party deal damage, something Ardelia lacks as a pure support.
Akekuri
+ Flexible SP generator for virtually any team
- SP Generation is highly reliant on enemies present
Akekuri is a flexible SP generator, able to find a spot in any team and buff them via the Frontiers set. However, her primary source of SP generation is via her Ultimate, as generating SP via her Combo Skill can be inconsistent depending on the enemies present.
She can still perform her role as a Vanguard for any team that lacks one, but notably falls behind on teams with specific SP generators such as Pogranichnik and Arclight.
Antal
+ Can apply Heat and Electric Susceptibility
+ Can apply Heat and Electric Amp
- Limited to Heat and Electric DPS
- Primarily single-target |
Antal boasts buffs and debuffs for Heat and Electric teams, able to apply Susceptibility to enemies and Amp for the team. His Combo Skill adds another stack of the applied Infliction as well, able to set up for stronger Reactions or have carries utilize it, such as Laevatain and her Melting Flame mechanic.
However, Antal's Focus mechanic is purely single-target and often goes unused against mobs. He still places decently in the tier list due to the support he offers, but is held back by both his team and scenario restrictions.
Alesh
+ Great SP generation for teams that consume Arts Reactions
- Greedy with Cryo Infliction stacks
- Relies on RNG to deal decent damage |
Alesh is the Vanguard of Shatter teams, able to generate SP via Combo Skill or Ultimate. He boasts high multipliers for his own damage and has a small chance to boost his SP gain.
Alesh has plenty of conditions in his kit, boosting his SP recovery depending on Cryo Infliction stacks, or upon defeating enemies with his Ultimate. However, his kit only has SP generation and lacks the buffing that other Vanguards have outside of the Frontiers set.
Notably, Alesh's team is a weak archetype, with no true carry and support that can capitalize on the team's advantages. His Cryo Infliction consumption is anti-synergistic with the current Cryo team variants as well, and his infrequent Cryo Infliction does not help these teams much either, affecting his place in the tier list.
Purrchena
+ Low SP Consumption
+ Provides Protection and healing + Cheap source of Nature Infliction
- Relies on RNG to apply Arts Susc, crowd control, or Stagger
Purrchena can be a support for some Arts-focused teams as she provides Protection to block incoming attacks and applies Nature Infliction with her Battle Skills. She can heal teammates with her Combo Skill, while also randomly throwing gifts that can either give bonus healing, deal Stagger, or pull in enemies.
Since Purrchena's kit involves a lot of luck and randomness to get the desired gift, she can be inconsistent at times, especially if you want to apply Arts Susceptibility with her Ultimate. She's a good sustain unit, but her inconsistency diminishes her value.
Ember
+ Can heal and provide shields
+ Can apply Vulnerable stacks
- Limited to Physical/Hybrid teams despite her Heat element
- Healing requires getting hit |
Ember provides healing and shielding, and is primarily a support for Physical teams despite her Heat element. She can provide Knock Down as well, acting as an additional source of Vulnerable in Physical teams.
When built properly, Ember's healing and shielding is sufficient in the current state of the game. However, other sustain options are still better than Ember, with Ardelia providing Susceptibility and Xaihi applying Amps. This does not devalue Ember, however, as sustain options are lacking in the current roster.
However, note that Ember's kit is clunky in practice. When her Ultimate's shield is present, her Combo Skill does not trigger if the controlled Operator is hit. When her Combo Skill is triggered, the heal will only apply if her attack hits an enemy, affecting her performance against fast targets like in Rampaging Shields.
Da Pan
+ Can play as a Crush DPS for Physical teams
+ Strong in AoE content
- Damage is locked behind Combo Skill
Da Pan is a Physical DPS with Crush, excelling in AoE content due to the cooldown reduction of his Ultimate. He can set up his own Vulnerable stacks as opposed to the Endministrator, but lacks the team support that Endmin offers.
However, Da Pan suffers from the high cooldown on his Combo Skill to trigger his main damage source, Crush. While he can easily add Vulnerable stacks by himself, rotations are often at the mercy of his cooldowns to deal damage.
Notably, his Combo Skill will not trigger on its own if it exits cooldown with an enemy afflicted with 4 Vulnerable stacks present on the field. Players will need to apply a stack of Vulnerable to trigger it, thereby wasting a stack, leading to awkward situations where the rotation ends, and his Crush isn't present.
Fluorite
+ Adds Cryo and Nature Inflictions without costing SP
- Limited in utility
Fluorite's main niche is how she can apply another stack of Cryo or Nature Infliction, depending on the present Infliction on the enemy. Fluorite can apply her own Nature Infliction as well, granting access to Corrosion if the team requires it.
However, Fluorite is held back by her high Combo Skill cooldown and somewhat high Ultimate cost, limiting the use of her only niche. Her kit cannot trigger team supporting effects from gears as well, such as Frontiers or Xiranite, further limiting her utility.
While she sees use in Cryo teams purely as a Cryo Infliction support, her lack of supporting capabilities makes her a stopgap at best. This role can be fulfilled by Tangtang and Arcane as well, and they significantly eclipse Fluorite as they can also provide additional utility like debuffs and crowd-control.
Snowshine
+ Cheap source of Cryo Infliction when played correctly
+ Can forcibly apply Solidification via ultimate
- Utility is heavily restricted to healing
- Cryo Infliction relies on enemy behavior |
Snowshine offers healing and forced Solidification, with a Cryo Infliction on Battle Skill. She is currently not a core unit for any team, and her Infliction is tied to enemy behavior, making it an unreliable source in a rotation.
Due to her restrictions, her primary utility lies in her healing via Combo Skill, but requires the ally to be below a certain amount of HP to trigger. This means that the team is hardly ever fully healed, which makes her role as a healer lacking in performance.
Estella
+ Cannot be Solidified due to her immunity to Cryo Inflictions
- Limited to Shatter teams, currently a weak archetype
Estella is the core unit for Shatter teams, applying Physical Susceptibility to enemies with Solidification.
However, Estella's team variant is currently in a weak spot, as the team requires both Inflictions and Vulnerables. This team requires both Arts and Physical damage, which currently does not have a proper support or DPS in the roster.
This affects Estella as well, as her niche isn't as powerful as the other options currently, affecting her place in the tier list.
Catcher
+ Can provide Protection and shields
+ Can apply Weaken
- Vulnerable relies on enemy behavior
- Shielding requires an ally on low HP |
Catcher offers shields and weaken, and can apply a stack of Vulnerable on Battle Skill and Knock Down via Ultimate.
Catcher's shield is held back by its long cooldown and condition, only triggering if an ally falls below 40% HP. This lack of healing and its restrictive condition hampers his role as a sustain, leaving the team unprotected for the majority of the fight.
His Vulnerable stack on Battle Skill is dependent on enemy behavior as well, making it an unreliable source in team rotations, especially as the current Physical teams want more Vulnerable stacks for Crush or Breach.
| Tier | Description |
|---|---|
SS Tier
Owning SS Tier Characters can drastically improve an account, to the point where there's a clear difference between an account without an SS Tier Character and those that have at least one. These characters boast exceptional performance in plenty of content, especially in difficult events like Umbral Monument or RE-Crisis. |
S+ Tier
S+ Characters are core members of their respective teams, powerful units that perform among the best in their intended role, or has a flexible kit to fit in multiple teams. They aren't as game changing as SS tier characters, but they open up strong team options when obtained and built. |
S Tier
Operators rated S-tier are strong characters that are great in their respective roles. They easily fill in the gaps when players are missing a core operator in the higher tiers. |
A Tier
A-tier Operators have strong kits that can perform well in the current content, but typically only perform well in a few teams. They can fulfill their roles fine, but often decline outside of their optimal team. |
B Tier
Operators in this tier are substitutes at best, but have subpar kits that are less versatile than those in A-tier. They can still perform well in their intended roles, but are overshadowed in power or flexibility by those in higher tiers. |
C Tier
These Operators are limited in usage due to subpar numbers or restricted utility. They may have a niche they can perform well in, but are easily replaced by higher-tiered Operators. |
4-star characters are ranked at max potential due to its accessibility, the Endministrator is ranked at Potential as it is free via story progression, and all other Operators are ranked at Potential 0 regardless of their rarity.
All evaluations are focused solely on their performance in combat. This tier list ignores an Operator's value outside of combat, such as their Outpost compatibility and Base Skills.
DPSes have their combat performance evaluated in their best team. Supports are ranked by the value of their buffs in their possible teams, along with their flexibility outside of it.
