Laevatain in Arknights as Surtr
Surtr is a skilled fighter wielding a blazing longsword held by an entity, a feature present both in her Arknights and Endfield appearances.
Surtr is likely a returning character under the codename Laevatain, retaining her identity as a skilled combatant with a love for ice cream.
Gilberta in Arknights as Angelina
Angelina from Arknights works as a Messenger, retaining her occupation during the events of Arknights: Endfield. They maintain the same sunny demeanor and are capable of wielding rare gravity-based arts.
It is still unclear whether Angelina and Gilberta are the same person, as a post on the official X account from 2023 revealed Gilberta referring to someone as Angelina-senpai. Her official profile mentions Warfarin experiencing nostalgia due to Gilberta's personality, hinting that they are similar, but not identical.
Snowshine in Arknights as Aurora
Aurora works for Karlan Trade in Arknights, known for her unique weapon she built herself. She and Snowshine bear many similarities, as both are used to snowy terrain, wield similar weapons, and have similar ice-based Arts.
Snowshine is likely an expy of Aurora due to their similarity in appearance, equipment, and abilities.
Ardelia in Arknights as Eyjafjalla
Ardelia bears a striking resemblance to Eyjafjalla from Arknights, and shares many similarities with her. Both of them are volcano specialists, are adorned with ash and wool motifs, and still wish to call the player professor.
It's currently unconfirmed if the two are the same person, or if they are simply designed to look like one another.
Pogranichnik in Arknights as Hellagur
Pogranichnik looks very similar to the Ursus general Hellagur from Arknights. Specifically, the former looks like Hellagur does in his Bloodline of Combat skin in-game.
Given that Endfield takes place in the future of Arknights, it is unconfirmed how Pogranichnik is related to Hellagur. It is unlikely for them to be the same person, as Hellagur has already grown old, but they may be relatives instead.

Antal in Arknights as 12F
Antal and 12F from Arknights share several qualities, including their appearance. Both are a member of an Operations team, and both prefer using Arts as their main tool in combat.
There is no confirmation if there is any link between these characters, and it is possible that they simply are both just Savra Arts users.
Typhoeus in Arknights as Typhon
Typhoeus is a young Sarkaz girl who wanders through countless dreams, and is almost identical to Typhon from the original Arknights.
Though with some design differences such as the lack of horn ornaments and bow design, Typhoeus is likely Typhon's Reconvener in Endfield, inheriting her race, weapon choice, and hunting skills.

Kay is a Rhodes Island operator, mentioned to be traveling the world in search of food and weapons. She bears striking similarities with Ceobe in both appearance and personality, as they both share the same affinity for weapons and honey-related food.

What are Reconveners?
Official In-Game Term for Several Returning Characters
Reconvener is an official in-game term referring to special operators in the game which, through lore reasons, return to Arknights: Endfield despite their appearance being similar to characters in the original game.
Note that not every returning character is a Reconvener, and is assumingly not connected to their original counterparts in-lore, despite them looking very similar. Reconveners effectively serve as references to them while being a stand-in independent character.
