Anatieis live in the mountains of Terra back in the OG Arknights, and they, along with the other Ancients, are currently also in Talos-II.

A race whose members usually have bulky tails. Archosaurians are proud of their culture and prefer living in rainforests. Adapting to the climate of Talos-II has been quite a challenge to them.

A race sporting branching antlers atop their head. Their ancestors mostly lived in Terran countries with plenty of forested regions.

A race that usually sports horns, powerful physique, and excellent endurance. Fortes proved to be indispensable for the exploration and development of Talos-II.
A race with light, nimble bodies and characterized by their ear tufts. Zalaks are already famous for their tenacity and ability to survive harsh environments in the Age of Terra.
A race with close affinity to water. Their ancestors built an entire nation under the sea, complete with undersea metropolises. They also played an important role in the history of Terra.

Other Ancient Races have been mentioned in the game's Nexus Files, including Anurans, Ceratoes, Itra, Manticores, Petrams, Pilosa, and Reprobas.

A Sarkaz race characterized by their smaller statures. Generators of subterrenean life caused the Durin to diverge from other Sarkaz. They are renowned for their technological expertise as well as appetites for drink and merrymaking. Life in Talos-II hardly changed these customs.
Races in the context of Arknights: Endfield and in the original Arknights refer to the different types of humans living in Talos-II with unique physical and cultural characteristics. These humans have lived in Talos-II for long, and three major identites for these races have been identified.
Each race has their own specific sub-races dependent on the history of their lineage, and all of them live in Talos-II as part of the Civilization Band.
