Feral Carnage of Shadow Stage 2 Mechanics
| Normal | An enemy in Ethereal state is immune to DMG and cannot be targeted. Once the battle begins, the Quillbeast Blightshade will enter its Ethereal state and constantly perform ramming attacks. Meanwhile, the Rakerbeast Blightshade will regularly apply Shield on itself. The Quillbeast Blightshade's ramming can shatter this Shield. When the Rakerbeast Blightshade is reduced to a lower HP, it will enter its Ethereal state while the Quillbeast Blightshade's Ethereal state will end. After that, the Rakerbeast Blightshade will regularly cast Thunder Strike on the controlled operator (up to 5 strikes in total). Thunder Strike DMG cannot be dodged. Applying Arts Burst, Breach, or Crush on the Quillbeast Blightshade will create Lightning Orbs. The controlled operator can pick up a Lightning Orb to acquire a shield that blocks the DMG of 1 Thunder Strike. After the Quillbeast Blightshade is reduced to low HP, its Ethereal state will end. The enemies will then attack together. Enemies have the same resistance against every element. |

An Electrification Team with Zhuang Fangyi can easily clear this stage and perform Arts Bursts when needed to create Lightning Orbs for shielding. Once both enemies can be attacked together, Zhuang Fangyi can quickly defeat both enemies during her Ultimate form.

A Mi Fu Physical Team can also perform well in this stage, as the team can easily help Mi Fu perform her Crush procs on the enemies to create Lightning Orbs. Chen Qianyu helps set up Vulnerable stacks to make this possible.
Pogranichnik can also inflict Breach, so you can alternate between him and Mi Fu in applying Physical Statuses to get a shield from the Thunder Strikes.

A Typhoeus Hypercarry Team can take advantage of the stage mechanic as the team solely focuses on performing Nature Burst with Typhoeus. This team can also do decent AoE damage when both enemies are grouped and can be attacked together.
How to Beat Feral Carnage of Shadow Stage 2
Bait the Quillbeast to Ram the Rakerbeast
When the Rakerbeast Blightshade has its shield up, make sure to position yourself to bait the Quillbeast to perform its ram attack on the Rakerbeast and take down the shield. Once the shield is down, you can finally deal damage to the Rakerbeast until it reaches low HP.
Perform Arts Burst, Breach, or Crush for Lightning Orbs
Now that the Rakerbeast is invulnerable for a while, focus on performing Arts Burst or Physical Statuses like Breach or Crush on the Quillbeast Blightshade to create Lightning Orbs.
Pick up these orbs to shield yourself from the Rakerbeast's Thunder Strikes, which cannot be dodged. Also remember that the shield will only protect you from the Thunder Strikes and not from any attacks from the Quillbeast.
