| Critters That Dig |
・ Careful. The Mist continuously deals gradually increasing DMG to all operators. Mist DMG is also greatly increased. ・ The Woodcraft Slug will burrow underground and restore all its shield stacks on a regular basis. Defeating a Woodcraft Slug will temporarily reduce Mist DMG. ・ After the battle begins, 1 random Woodcraft Slug will lose all its shield stacks and no longer restore them. Defeating it will cause 1 random Woodcraft Slug to lose all its shield stacks and no longer restore them. ・ Tacticals and consumables cannot be used. ・ Enemies have the same resistance against every element. |
| Shadows that Bind |
・ After the battle begins, the enemy applies Imprisonment on all operators except for the controlled operator. ・ Operators under Imprisonment will constantly lose HP while giving Blitzcrash Blightshade HP Treatment, ATK boosts, and resistance to the operator's element. ・ Defeating a YSTF Elite Blightshade frees 1 operator from Imprisonment. ・ Blitzcrash Blightshade awakens after all YSTF Elite Blightshades are defeated, or after the battle has progressed for a while. ・ Tacticals and consumables cannot be used. ・ Enemies have the same resistance against every element. |
| Woodcrafts That Link |
・ After the battle begins, the Woodcraft Wanderer will continuously move towards the other Woodcraft Wanderer, creating an energy link that deals DMG over time. While the energy link exists, defeating one Woodcraft Wanderer will also defeat the other. ・ When the Woodcraft Wanderers reach the same position, they will trigger an explosion that deals DMG (based on Max HP) to all operators. ・ Woodcraft Wanderers move faster. Every subsequent explosion deals higher DMG. ・ Tacticals and consumables cannot be used. ・ Enemies have the same resistance against every element. |
| Hatred That Sprawls |
・ After the battle begins, the operators' Max SP is increased to 400. ・ Gloomwald's Rage will enter its charging state on a regular basis and gain a large number of shield stacks. When its charging up is complete, it will cast its ultimate that deals massive DMG to all operators. Break all shield stacks to interrupt the charging state. ・ When Gloomwald's Rage enters its charging state, it also summons 4 Woodcraft Wanderers. After a Woodcraft Wanderer's shield stacks are shattered, it will immediately disappear and restore 200 SP for the operators. ・While Gloomwald's Rage is protected by shield stack(s), operators no longer have SP regeneration and their Final Strikes and Finishers no longer recover SP. Gloomwald's Rage also gradually acquires more and more shield stacks. ・ Tacticals and consumables cannot be used. ・ Enemies have the same resistance against every element. |

How to Unlock Umbral Monument
Complete Paving the Way Mission
To unlock Umbral Monument, you need to complete the Chapter I Process II: Paving the Way main mission.

Reach Authority Level 30
An additional requirement to unlock Umbral Monument is to reach Authority Level 30. You can earn Operational EXP by spending sanity points, playing through missions, and finishing daily tasks.

How to Play Umbral Monument
- Defeat Enemies Within the Time Limit
- Deploy a Team of Four Operators
- Cannot Use Tacticals in Agony Mode
Defeat Enemies Within the Time Limit
Each Umbral Monument stage features a time limit to defeat enemies. As long as you complete the stage before the timer runs out, you will receive the full set of rewards.
Deploy a Team of Four Operators
Before starting an Umbral Monument stage, you must deploy a maximum of 4 Operators for each battle. Each stage has its own mechanics and recommended operator level. Plan your team and gear up your operators to deploy for each stage!
Cannot Use Tacticals in Agony Mode
Tacticals are consumable items operators can use during combat. Although you can use Tacticals in Normal mode, you cannot use Tacticals during combat in Agony mode.

Clearing the stages for the first time will reward you with Mark of Perseverance, T-Creds, Advanced Cognitive Carrier, Arms INSP Set, and Protohedron as rewards.
Obtain a Medal for Completing a Series
Engraved medals can also be obtained for completing every stage of a series in Normal mode. Complete all stages in Agony mode, and Endmins can receive a trimmed version of the Engraved Medal instead!

Monumental Etching Rewards
Monumental Etching is a recurring event that runs at the same time for this game mode's series releases. This event rewards players with Oroberyls, among others, when they complete the objectives for the current series.
