Witness the Game Unfold is the fourth quest under the Sanctuary From the Rift mission series. This quest is under Chapter 2 - Process 8 of the main story and is located in Si's Painting.

Continue Your Ascent to the Higher Place

From where the previous Main Mission ended, continue down the path inside the cave until you reach Raintap Grotto. Follow the path until you come across a broken bridge. Jump down, and take the path on the left.

Take the stairs along the path, then make a right turn at the crossroads to cross a bridge. There should be a TP Point to the right as a clue in the minimap. From there, continue south by crossing two more bridges until you enter a cave.

When you reach the cave, you will have a forced battle against a Maned Measure, which is an Elite-tier enemy that can only be found in Si's Painting.

After defeating the Maned Measure, continue down the mountain path to the right of where you battled the Apparition. Then, at the fork in the road, turn left and pass by a waterfall and a scenic view of Si's Painting.

Continue down the path until you reach another broken tree that disconnects the road. Use a magic scroll nearby to make use of the Miracle Brush to restore the tree and reveal a path ahead.

Cross the repaired tree bridge, and continue down the path until you reach the Pavilion of Parting. When your character starts to automatically walk instead of run, you are getting close to the destination.

Sit Down and Play Chess

After seeing two players run off after realizing how long they had spent figuring out the chess puzzle, Si suggests the Endministrator take a crack at it as a change of pace. Take a seat on the opposite side of the table to play the chess puzzle.

Decide How to Move the Piece

In the first puzzle, choose the option Act Decisively on the right. Choosing the left option (Ignore the Threat) will force Si to reset the board and make you choose the correct option.

In the second puzzle, choose the option Frontal Gambit with the piece surrounded on the enemy's side of the board. Again, choosing the wrong option (Steady Advance) will force Si to reset the board and make you choose the correct option.

In the third puzzle, choose the option Sacrifice for Victory with the left piece. Once again, choosing the incorrect option (Feint and Maneuver) will force Si to reset the board and make you choose the correct option.

On the fourth and final puzzle, the Administrator gets to observe the board on the ground itself. Continue walking forward as they try to find a way to win.

With no other piece left, the Endministrator decides that they are the final piece to win the last puzzle. Use the Miracle Brush to reveal the piece to win the game.

After making the risky play to win, the Endministrator can finally repair the damage near the Pavilion of Parting. Use the Miracle Brush once again to fix the gap, and after a lengthy cutscene, this Mission is finished!
