Mi Fu is a powerful Crush DPS that can help stack her own Vulnerable to maximize her Crush damage, as well as apply Physical Susceptibility to boost hers and the rest of the members' damage in a Mono-Physical team.
However, she does suffer from the same problems as Last Rite, where her optimal rotation requires her to cast her Combo Skill to boost the strongest damaging skill in her kit, which requires at least 3 Vulnerable stacks to trigger. This is easily hindered by boss mechanics such as a separate counter for weakpoints, like in Rock Solid, or phase changes.
She can circumvent its restrictions somewhat by using her Ultimate to apply a stack of Vulnerable and lead to Moves 2 and 3, or relying on Lifeng or Ardelia to apply Physical Susceptibility.

In the early game, Mi Fu is best built with the Armored MSGR set and Ancient Canal primarily for their Attack and Strength bonuses. The additional Arts Intensity helps with Mi Fu's Crush procs as well, especially since it's a rare stat to find in the earlier stages of the game.

Amaranthine Tassel is Mi Fu's best-in-slot weapon, as her Combo Skill can apply Physical Susceptibility to trigger its Combative Skill to gain Physical DMG and Arts Intensity buffs.
Phantom Pain from the Protocol Pass is a viable alternative for its bonuses to Strength and Arts Intensity. Mi Fu can easily maximize its Suppression: Layered Suffering with her constant Battle Skill casts while boosting the damage of her Crush with its bonuses.
Otherwise, Exemplar is a great stat stick, especially since Mi Fu can easily stack its Suppression skill with her multiple Battle Skill casts. If higher rarity options are unavailable, Ancient Canal is a great weapon for its Strength and Arts Intensity bonuses, with a skill that Mi Fu can reliably trigger with her Crush procs.

In the early game, Mi Fu can use the Ancient Canal as her weapon until one of the 6-star options are obtained. Note that this can only be obtained by pulling in weapon banners.
Industry 0.1 can be a decent placeholder weapon, obtainable from Arsenal Exchange or from opening treasure chests.

When the wearer applies Crush or Breach, the wearer gains Physical DMG Dealt +(6% x Max number of Vulnerability stacks consumed from one enemy) for 20s. If the target already has Physical Susceptibility, is Staggered, or has attached Originium Crystals, increase the aforementioned buff to 1.5 times. This buff cannot stack.
|
|
Mi Fu's best endgame gear is the Grizzled Edge set. She can maximize its set effect as Mi Fu can apply Physical Susceptibility with her Combo Skill and apply Crush with her Battle Skill - Move 2, with each piece further boosting her Strength and Will attributes as well as Physical DMG Bonus and Arts Intensity.
Swordmancer NAV Beacon is used as the off-piece for its large boost in Strength and Arts Intensity. The high saturation of Physical DMG from the pieces, set effect, and weapon skills allows the Swordmancer NAV Beacon to outperform other flex slots regardless of whether Mi Fu is triggering Crush at 3 or 4 stacks.

Armored MSGR is Mi Fu's best early game gear for its bonuses to strength from the individual pieces and the set effect. Both Armored MSGR Gyro's can greatly boost her Attack stat as well, significantly improving Mi Fu's damage early on.
Mi Fu is a 6-Star Physical Guard who can apply Physical Suceptibility to enemies and deal massive damage by casting Battle Skills in succession. Her Ultimate can help trigger her Combo Skill that can chain into Moves 2 and 3 of her Battle Skill.
Mi Fu can perform up to three different Battle Skill moves in a row. Succeeding Battle Skills are available after certain conditions are met:
| Battle Skill | Effect |
|---|---|
| Move 1 - Cloudtrapper |
Pulls in light enemies or pulls Mi Fu towards heavy enemies. Replaces the next battle skill with Trail and Mangle. |
| Move 2 - Trail and Mangle |
Applies Crush. Consuming at least 3 Vulnerability stacks replaces the next battle skill with World Splitter. |
| Move 3 - World Splitter |
Deals Crush damage without applying or consuming Vulnerable stacks. Damage is affected by Arts Intensity, but does not count as Skill DMG. |
Mi Fu's Combo Skill is triggered when an enemy has 3 or more Vulnerability stacks. Casting her Combo Skill applies Physical Susceptibility and replaces her next Battle Skill with Move 2 - Trail and Mangle.
After casting her Combo Skill, use her Battle Skill twice in quick succession to deal a burst of Crush damage with World Splitter and by consuming the Vulnerable stacks present.
Mi Fu's Ultimate deals high damage and Stagger, while forcibly applying the Lift status to enemies hit. This can be used to add a stack of Vulnerability when necessary to enable her Combo Skill, then chain into her Battle Skill.

With Mi Fu being in charge of Wuling's entire military division, she answers to only one person: Viceroy Zhuang Fangyi, who functions as the leader and representative of Wuling.
Regarding their relationship with each other, though mostly professional, they still consider each other close friends, with Mi Fu even knowing that Zhuang Fangyi would much rather be called “Tianshi” instead of “Viceroy”.
Zhuang Fangyi Best Builds and Weapons

With being a lawful and steadfast leader of an orderly military division comes a rival who is her stark opposite: Tangtang, the mischievous leader of the tribal Qingbo Stockade who resorts to unlawful methods to keep her tribe afloat.
The two have butted heads since encountering each other, and continue to do so to this day. However, what was once a hostile rivalry has now turned somewhat friendly, as seen in the main mission, The Surging Tide.
