Pre-download for PC and PS5 was available last October 13, 2026 until October 15, 2026, after the version maintenance and update.
For mobile however, pre-installation began on October 13, 2026 and lasted until October 15, 2026, at 5:30 AM (UTC+8).
Note that extra space was needed for the pre-installation, as well as certain system requirements to run the game.

How to Pre-Download Version 1.6 Update
Update Through the PC Launcher
| Steps to Pre-Download on PC | |

| 1 |  Open the Arknights: Endfield Launcher and select the Pre-Download button found next to Play. |
| 2 | Once selected, a system notification will pop up. Select Confirm to start the pre-download. |
| 3 | Wait for the download to finish. |
Once the download is complete, you have now pre-downloaded the new version! After this, you will only have to wait for the new update's maintenance end to play the new patch.
Version 1.6 Maintenance Schedule

| Steps to Update on PS5 | |

| 1 | Go to Home Screen and select Arknights: Endfield. |
| 2 | Press the controller's Options button and select Check for Update to begin downloading. |
| 3 | Wait for the download to finish. |
Once the download is complete, you have now pre-downloaded the new version! You now only have to wait for the maintenance end to play the new version.
Pre-Download Resources on Mobile

|---|---|
| 1 | Open your Arknights: Endfield app. |
| 2 |  Tap on Pre-Download Resources at the bottom left of the login screen. Confirm the pre-download. |
| 3 | Wait for the download to finish. |
With the pre-installation complete, you will only need to wait for the maintenance and the mobile update to play the new version!
Note that you cannot play the game while the mobile pre-download is ongoing.
