Laevatain can maximize acquiring Melting Flame stacks via Wulfgard's Battle Skill and Combo Skill or Arcane's Combo Skill, as well as Akekuri's or Camille's Battle Skills.
Laevatain's reliance on Final Strike to reap Melting Flame stacks synergizes with Ardelia's Combo Skill, as it triggers her own Combo Skill due to the forced Corrosion application.
WILL Arcane can duplicate Camille's Heat Infliction, where she serves as the Heat Infliction generator of the team. Her Ultimate allows her to add a stack of Heat Infliction over a wide area as well, providing plenty of sources of Melting Flame stacks for Laevatain's enhanced Battle Skill.
Below is a more detailed guide to a Laevatain Hypercarry team rotation with Camille and WILL Arcane:
| 1 | Cast Camille's Battle Skill to apply one stack of Heat Infliction, then trigger Arcane's Combo Skill to add another stack. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Cast Camille's Battle Skill again to add another stack of Heat Infliction. |
| 3 | Perform a Final Strike with Laevatain to consume all Heat Inflictions, raising her Melting Flame stack count to 3. |
| 4 | Trigger Ardelia's Combo Skill for the delayed Corrosion application. Trigger Camille's Combo Skill as well to apply Link. |
| 5 | After Ardelia's Corrosion applies, trigger Laevatain's Combo Skill for the fourth Melting Flame stack. |
| 6 | Cast Laevatain's Battle Skill to consume all Melting Flame stacks and deal the additional hit, further enhanced by Camille's Link buff. |
Place Ardelia before Camille in the team menu to trigger her Combo Skill first and apply Corrosion slightly sooner for lesser downtime.
Note that this rotation assumes one enemy. Laevatain can gain more Melting Flame stacks if multiple enemies with Heat Inflictions are hit with her Final Strike, saving SP by skipping Wulfgard's Battle Skill cast. This is possible with the AoE Heat Infliction from Camille's Battle Skill and Wulfgard's Combo Skill.
Below is a more detailed guide to a Laevatain Hypercarry team rotation with Camille and Wulfgard:
| 1 | Cast Camille's Battle Skill first to apply Heat Susceptibility and Weaken with his Firefang Vesperwings debuff, in addition to one stack of Heat Infliction. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Cast Wulfgard's Battle Skill, then trigger his Combo Skill afterwards. This sets the Heat Infliction stacks to 3. |
| 3 | Perform a Final Strike with Laevatain to absorb all Heat Inflictions and gain 3 Melting Flame stacks. |
| 4 | Trigger Ardelia's Combo Skill, followed by Camille's Combo Skill to restore SP. The party gains a Link buff if Camille's Combo Skill hits an enemy with Firefang Vesperwings. |
| 5 | After Ardelia's Corrosion applies, trigger Laevatain's Combo Skill for the final Melting Flame stack. |
| 6 | Cast Laevatain's Enhanced Battle Skill. The Link buff is consumed if available, significantly improving its damage. |
Laevatain's rotation consists of stacking 4 Melting Flame stacks. 3 Heat Inflictions can be applied by Wulfgard and Akekuri and absorbed via Final Strike, with the last stack from Laevatain's Combo Skill triggered by Ardelia's Corrosion.
Below is a more detailed guide to a Laevatain Hypercarry team rotation with Akekuri and Wulfgard:
| 1 | Cast Wulfgard's Battle Skill to apply Heat Infliction, then trigger his Combo Skill afterwards for a second stack of Heat Infliction. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Cast Akekuri's Battle Skill for the third stack of Heat Infliction. |
| 3 | Perform a Final Strike with Laevatain to reap 3 Melting Flame stacks. Trigger Ardelia's Combo Skill afterwards. |
| 4 | Trigger Laevatain's Combo Skill after Ardelia's Corrosion applies. This sets Laevatain's Melting Flame stacks to 4. |
| 5 | Use Akekuri's Ultimate when available for the Link buff, then cast Laevatain's Enhanced Battle Skill. |
