Typhoeus is a Nature DPS who primarily deals Nature Burst DMG. Consuming Hunter Arrows with her Skills deals additional Nature Burst DMG, consuming Nature Inflictions further increases the Burst DMG she deals, and her Combo Skill can debuff enemies by increasing the Nature Burst DMG they receive.
Much like other Strikers, she heavily relies on her teammates to enable her kit, as she does not have her own way of applying Nature Infliction to enemies to gain her Sign stacks.

Typhoeus primarily wants Agility, Attack, and Arts Intensity in her build.
Both Agility and Attack increase Typhoeus' overall damage dealt, with Arts Intensity scaling incredibly well with the Nature Bursts present in her Battle Skill’s Power Shots.

As an Agility-scaling Arts Unit DPS, Typhoeus is severely lacking in weapon options, as most Arts Units tend to increase the Intellect and Will stats instead.
Her best-in-slot weapon is Umbra of Frigid Eventide, as it increases her Agility, ATK, Arts DMG, and Arts Intensity stats. Her Battle Skill synergizes perfectly well with its Detonate skill to further boost her Arts DMG wtih near permanent uptime, provided players are always casting it with 4 Hunter Arrows available.
Alternatively, Suffering's End is a viable option as well, as it increases her Agility, Nature DMG, and Arts Intensity stats. However, note that the lack of ATK% results in a significant gap with Umbra of Frigid Eventide.
If the above options are unavailable, Detonation Unit is the only other Arts Unit that Typhoeus can use. It increases her Main Attribute and Arts Intensity while debuffing the enemy with its Detonate skill.

Typhoeus's best gear set for endgame is the Deep Rampart set with a LYNX Slab off-piece. Typhoeus' Power Shots can trigger its set effect with its forced Nature Burst procs, allowing her to maintain it at full stacks with relative ease.
LYNX Slab is used as the off-piece primarily for its Main Attribute% bonus, which results in a significantly ATK boost for Typhoeus.
Best Gear and Gear Sets for Each Character
Typhoeus is a 6-star Nature Striker who mainly deals Nature Burst DMG from midair with her Battle Skill's Power Shots and Hovering state.
She can accumulate Signs via her Battle Skill, use them to trigger her Combo Skill and gain Hunter Arrows, and use her Hunter Arrows to deal Nature Burst DMG from her Battle Skill's and Ultimate's attacks.
Typhoeus enters the Hovering state and performs 5 Aerial Basic Attacks. When a Nature Infliction is present on the enemy, consume the Infliction to gain another stack of Sign.

When Hunting Arrows are present, these arrows are consumed to deal additional Nature Burst DMG to the enemy and gain a Sign via her Prey Checklist Talent. Hunting Arrows can be replenished by performing her Combo Skill.
Upon reaching 8 Signs, Typhoeus can trigger her Combo Skill to deal Nature DMG over time in an area that can Slow enemies and increase the Nature Burst DMG they receive.
If 8 Signs are gained while the Combo Skill is on cooldown or if the Combo Skill's timer runs out, dealing damage to an enemy at 8 Signs can trigger the Combo Skill again.
Additionally, this fully replenishes her Hunting Arrow stacks, which can be used to enhance her Battle Skill's or Ultimate's Attacks.
When Typhoeus triggers her Combo Skill while in the Hovering state, she remains in that state while resetting her Basic Attack count.
When casting her Ultimate, Typhoeus deals Nature damage in an AoE in front of her and enters the Hovering state similar to her Battle Skill while gaining 2 Hunter Arrows.
During this state, she can perform up to 5 Aerial Basic Attacks that can trigger a Hail of Arrows at the enemy's position, which deals additional damage in a small area.
Similar to her Battle Skill, Aerial Basic Attacks performed this way can consume Nature Infliction to gain additional Signs. Additionally, casting her Ultimate while in the Hovering state allows her to remain in that state until it ends.

| Piercing Arrows of the Woods | Description: Typhoeus leaps into the air and enters a short Hovering state, during which she can unleash 5 Aerial Basic Attacks (ABATK). Each ABATK can shoot arrows at up to 2 targets and deal Nature DMG. Whenever an ABATK hits an enemy with Nature Infliction, it consumes 1 stack of Nature Infliction, grants Typhoeus 1 Sign, and gives additional Ultimate Energy. If Typhoeus has Hunting Arrow(s), she consumes 1 Hunting Arrow and converts the ABATK into a Power Shot. Power Shot: After hitting an enemy, Power Shot forcibly applies 1 instance of Nature Burst; if the target's Nature Infliction is consumed, then increase the DMG dealt by this Nature Burst to 1.3 times the original. If Typhoeus is the controlled operator, her 5th ABATK is regarded as a Final Strike and Power Shot, and does not consume Hunting Arrows. | |

Typhoeus is described as a young Sarkaz girl who wanders through countless dreams, collecting stories scattered throughout the world. She shares similarities in appearance with Typhon in the original Arknights.
How Endfield is Connected to Arknights

Typhon's horn ornaments and greatbow
In Arknights, her in-game files mention that Typhon's horn ornaments and greatbow were originally from her late parents. These ornaments are absent from her horns as Typhoeus, and the greatbow she uses is drastically different from the one she uses in the original Arknights. Additionally, Typhon is confirmed to be infected by Oripathy as well.
This may hint that Typhoeus is Typhon's Reconvener in Endfield, where she inherits her hunting skills, which leads to the similarity in their weapon of choice. The lack of her horn ornaments may imply that she has moved on from longing for her forgotten parents' warmth, or to differentiate herself from her original identity.
Lastly, her Oripathy infection is in line with the current theory about becoming a Reconvener. Currently, all Reconveners in the game have Oripathy in their original identities, where their information is likely slowly getting recorded in the Assimilated Universe present within Originium, which later allows them to Reconvene from the Originium Woods.
