Underground Area in the Northwest of Ungien's Circle

Genshin - Mushteshir Location Version 6.7 Local Legend

Mushteshir is located in the underground area northwest of the Lunar Highlands, on the Frost Moon map introduced in Version 6.7.

A good way to find the underground area is to look for the teleport waypoint in the northwest side of Ungien's Circle, then walk a bit north till you find a passage underground.

You must first progress through the first half of the Visitors From the Stars quest to have access to the Lunar Highlands, then find your way to Ungien's Circle in the north to find Mushteshir.

You Must Defeat Two Waves of Enemies Before Challenging Mushteshir

For Mushteshir to appear, you must first finish two challenges consisting two Precursor's Secret Source Matrix of Overseer Network per waves.

Once finished, challenge again and Mushteshir should appear. You only have to do this once.

The best way to defeat the Mushteshir is to bring either a Cryo and/or Electro unit to destroy the devices that it summons eventually during the fight in order to paralyze it.

Most of Sandrone's teams trivialize the device phase, as she can easily destroy them using her Charged Attack. This process is further expedited with her teammates, most notably Yae Miko.

An alternative to Sandrone is Chasca because of her Elemental Skill that can reach the devices. Most of her teams should be good, but do keep in mind to bring in reliable Cryo and/or Electro units.

Skirk can also do this, but you must bring a Cryo unit that can reach the devices, such as Ganyu. If this caveat is satisfied, Skirk can also easily beat Mushteshir with her damage alone.

General Strategy

Destroy the Devices With Cryo or Electro

After reducing its HP to a certain threshold, roughly below 50%, Mushteshir will summon 4 Hydro Devices that will protect it from taking damage. These devices are hovering around it, and destroying them should be able to achieve the second objective of the Valiant Chronicle.

For you to destroy these, you must either deal Cryo and/or Electro damage by bringing units from those elements. Superconduct and Stellar-Conduct, in particular, are highly effective. However, be sure that they can reach the devices to deal damage.

Sandrone and Yae Miko in particular can make this look easy, but 4-star characters like Charlotte or Fischl should also be able to do the same, provided that you placed them properly to hit the devices.

Defeat it While Paralyzed

It’s very important for you to reduce Mushteshir’s HP as much as possible before it summons the devices, as you must defeat it while it is paralyzed. Mushteshir will be paralyzed after destroying the devices.

Once paralyzed, burst it down with everything you've got. This is another reason why Sandrone is best here, as her Burst can literally deal massive damage to nuke enemies.

Nonetheless, units that can deal massive damage in a short time, like Skirk, should suffice.

Just like most overworld enemies, you will have to wait until the next day for Mushteshir to respawn. After defeating the enemy, you can fight it again after the next server reset.

Team can also be with Tighnari, Nahida, Columbina and Alyosha, Use Nahida and Tighnari to get the 4 flying things while using Alyosha's taunt skills to avoid getting hit when hitt
