What are Shrines of Depths?
Locked Shrines in Teyvat Regions
Shrines of Depths are small shrines located in various areas of Teyvat. They are initially locked, but you can still see the Luxurious Chest inside each one.
Unlocking a Shrine of Depths will give you various rewards, including Primogems!
How many Shrines of Depths are there?
As of now, there are a total of 64 Shrines of Depths in Teyvat: 10 in Mondstadt, 10 in Liyue, 10 in Inazuma, 10 in Sumeru, 10 found in Natlan, 7 in Nod-Krai, 3 on the Frost Moon and 4 in Snezhnaya.

To unlock a Shrine, you have to collect Shrine of Depths keys that match a shrine's region.

Ways to Obtain Shrine of Depths Keys
Shrine of Depths Keys are usually obtained as a reward from Adventure Rank Ascension, Adventurer's Handbook Chapters, domains, quests, Statues of the Seven levels, and offering systems in certain regions.
In Inazuma and Sumeru, for example, you can get Shrine of Depths Keys from the Sacred Sakura Tree and the Tree of Dreams, respectively.

Luxurious Chests
The only way to get the Luxurious Chest inside Shrines is by unlocking the Shrines with keys. The chests inside do not respawn, meaning you can only collect them once.
Primogems
You get 40 Primogems when you open the Luxurious Chest, along with 3-star weapons and artifacts!
