This weapon tier list is based on the overall usefulness of each weapon. Remember to consider your account and characters when choosing a weapon to claim from the paid Battle Pass.
| Weapon | Weapon Info & Refinement Priority |
|---|---|
The Black Sword
|
A good Main DPS weapon. Lets you run teams without a healer. Lower on the tier list because of the limited amount of characters who can properly take advantage of its passive. Refinements do not have a huge impact on its performance. Refinement Priority: Low |
Serpent Spine
|
The best weapon in the Battle Pass because of its flexibility for any role. It can compete with 5-star weapons at higher refinements, just don' get hit! Refinement Priority: High |
Solar Pearl
|
A strong Main DPS and a good Sub-DPS weapon. Usable by multiple characters and provides a unique buff from the weapon's passive. Refinement Priority: Medium |
The Viridescent Hunt
|
A decent crit boost weapon for Main DPS characters. Performs better when against multiple enemies. There are lots of 4-star bows that are more specialized compare to this weapon, which makes it lower on the tier list. Refinement Priority: Low |
Deathmatch
|
One of the best 4-star polearms in the game. It's excellent for Main DPS but also decent for Sub-DPS characters. Refinement Priority: Medium |
Wolf-Fang
|
Great for most Sword users that rely on Elemental Skill and Bursts. Effect is even greater for characters that can repeatedly attack the enemies with the same attack. Refinement Priority: High |
Talking Stick
|
Conditional weapon that requires a specific element to be applied to the character. Stat boosts are highly dependent on your team composition. Refinement Priority: Low |
Ballad of the Fjords
|
Requires three or more unique elements and good on team comps that specializes with Elemental Mastery. Some Polearm users may prefer Energy Recharge weapons more. Refinement Priority: Medium |
Sacrificial Jade
|
Weapon is more specific for characters who use both HP and Elemental Mastery, and are also off-field. There are better weapon options for most of the current Catalyst users. Refinement Priority: Low |
Scion of the Blazing Sun
|
Great bow for characters specializing in Aimed Charged Attacks. CRIT Rate will be helpful for players who cannot do guaranteed CRIT from headshots. Refinement Priority: Medium |
Jade Vista
|
Good bow for DPS units, particularly those scaling on EM or ATK. Refinement Priority: Medium |
Heretic's Molten Blade
|
Excellent for ATK scalers, but its niche passive demands high mobility, limiting who can use it effectively. Refinement Priority: Low |
Clash of Kings
|
A solid pick for ATK and EM scaling characters, working best for those whose primary damage comes from Charged Attacks to keep the buff active longer. Refinement Priority: Medium |
Frostbreath
|
Most effective when equipped by support units who scale on ATK and operate within Freeze, Melt, or Hydro/Cryo-centric lineups. Refinement Priority: Medium |
Forged by the Golden Melody
|
Although flexible across multiple setups, this weapon is best suited for Stellar Glimmer DPS options like Sandrone and Beidou. If you already have solid options for those units, other BP weapons take precedence. Refinement Priority: Medium |
If you actively play Genshin Impact everyday, then it's recommended to buy the Gnostic Hymn Battle pass, since this package contains useful materials for enhancing your characters and equipment.
Grinding for items in the battle pass requires doing dailies and weeklies. You can wait until you've reached BP level 50 before buying the battle pass to make sure you get all the rewards.
If you cannot actively play everyday, buying this battle pass is not recommended.
It is recommended to skip the Gnostic Chorus. Getting the Gnostic Hymn is a much more cost-effective option, giving you all of the important rewards (Weapon and Materials) at a much lower price.

The Battle Pass is a reccuring reward system tied to various tasks in the game. By completing in-game tasks, you will earn Battle Pass EP (EXP) that is used to increase your BP Level. Each level rewards you with different prizes, which includes Mora, Enhancement Ores, Fragile Resin, and Fates.
The Battle Pass lasts one whole patch cycle.
To get the rewards from the Battle Pass, Travelers must accomplish a series of Daily and Weekly tasks. Accomplishing these tasks will give you EXP, which allows you to complete each level and receive your rewards.
| Battle Pass Type | Costs |
|---|---|
| Sojourner's Battle Pass Available to all players who have reached Adventure Rank 20. |
Free |
| Gnostic Hymn Allows Travelers to receive additional item rewards upon reaching the required levels. Also unlocks Miliastra Wonderland's Chronicles of the Realm Pass. |
