How to Get to Watcher - Fallen Vigil

Immediately Available

Watcher - Fallen Vigil Immediately Available

The Fallen Vigil is not locked behind any quest or region. Upon the release of Version Luna VI, this boss is readily available to challenge.

Simply journey northward once you get to Dornman Port until you reach its lair. Be sure to interact with the Teleport Waypoint right next to it for an easier return trip!

  1. Participate in the Elemental Monitoring
  2. Destroy Active Elemental Stars

Participate in the Elemental Monitoring

Elemental Monitoring

After the Fallen Vigil takes a certain amount of DMG, it will enter an Elemental Monitoring state in which it will record 3 instances of elemental DMG. Be sure to participate in this recording.

Take note that the Elemental Monitoring only records Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro, so avoid purely relying on Geo, Anemo, and Dendro.

Destroy Active Elemental Stars

Active Elemental Stars

Once two monitoring sessions are completed, the Fallen Vigil will prepare a devastating attack called the Phenomena's Delirium, and it will send forth two Active Elemental Stars.

These stars will bear the previously recorded elements, and your job is to destroy them as quickly as possible to interrupt Phenomena's Delirium. Non-elemental stars will be harder to destroy.

Can be Dodged by I-Framing With Elemental Burst

In the event that you fail to destroy the stars on time, you can time your Elemental Burst with Phenomena's Delirium as a last resort in order to avoid it.

In light of the boss' Elemental Monitoring mechanic, it is wise to bring along characters whose elements can react with one another. While Anemo won't be recorded, it can still help in destroying Active Elemental Stars.

For instance, using Citlali's Cryo attacks and having the Vigil record it, two Cryo stars will be sent forth, which Pyro characters like Mavuika and Arlecchino can easily destroy.

If you wish to go the brute-force route, relying on Lunar Crystallize via Zibai and Linnea, provided that they are supported by Columbina. Another way you can do this is by relying on Lunar Bloom and Hyperbloom reactions.

Since Columbina and Aino are capable of contributing to the Elemental Monitoring, be sure to use their attacks if the Vigil happens to initiate any of them.
