• High Energy requirements. • Dendro application is below average in AoE situations. • Shield can act as an interrupt resist but not as a reliable protection against big hits. |

Jadefall's Splendor Jadefall's Splendor Base ATK: 608 Bonus Stat: HP 49.6% Skill Effect: For 3s after using an Elemental Burst or creating a shield, the equipping character can gain the Primordial Jade Regalia effect: Restore 4.5 Energy every 2.5s, and gain 0.3% Elemental DMG Bonus for their corresponding Elemental Type for every 1,000 Max HP they possess, up to 12%. Primordial Jade Regalia will still take effect even if the equipping character is not on the field. |
Prototype Amber Base ATK: 510 Bonus Stat: HP 41.3% Skill Effect: Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 4 Energy every 2s for 6s. Additionally, all party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2s for this duration. A Thousand Floating Dreams Base ATK: 542 Bonus Stat: Elemental Mastery 265 Skill Effect: Equipping Character gains buffs based on other party members' elemental type. If their elemental type is the same as the equipping character, Elemental Mastery is increased by 32. If not, the equipping character's elemental DMG Bonus is increased by 10%. Each effect can stack by a maximum of 3. All nearby party members will also gain an additional 40 Elemental Mastery. Favonius Codex Base ATK: 510 Bonus Stat: Energy Recharge 45.9% Skill Effect: CRIT Hits have a 60% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12s. Song of Days Past Song of Days Past 2-PC: Healing Bonus +15% 4-PC: When the equipping character heals a party member, the Yearning effect will be created for 6s, which records the total amount of healing provided (including overflow healing). When the duration expires, the Yearning effect will be transformed into the Waves of Days Past effect: When your active party member hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, the DMG dealt will be increased by 8% of the total healing amount recorded by the Yearning effect. The Waves of Days Past effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect. |

| General Team Comps | ||||
| Baizhu's best team variation as of now, featuring Lunar-Bloom. |
Baizhu's more traditional Aggravate team. |
|||
Baizhu builds into either Dendro Support or Elemental Dendro Driver roles, both being able to utilize the Deepwood Memories set alongside either his signature Jadefall's Splendor or EM weapons like A Thousand Floating Dreams if playing for an EM build.
| Stat | Goal Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 45,000 ~ 50,000 |
| Energy Recharge | 170%~180% |
| Elemental Mastery (EM Build) | 300 - 500 |
For the most part, Baizhu just wants to build as much HP and Energy Recharge as possible to have his healing and shields at top notch condition.
If using him as a Dendro driver, you will have the chance to stack EM on him in exchange for some of his HP, with 500 EM as the baseline for performance.
| 1st | 2nd |
|---|---|
| Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst | Normal Attack |
As a healer support, the talents to level up for Baizhu are both his Elemental Burst and Skill, as it increases his base healing and shielding. Skip leveling his Normal Attacks if you're not planning to use him as a Dendro-reaction driver.
Baizhu strictly wants HP Catalysts like his signature Jadefall's Splendor that boosts his protective abilities, EM Catalysts like A Thousand Floating Dreams, or miscellaneous Energy Recharge Catalysts to help with energy generation if needed.
| Best Weapons for Baizhu | |
|---|---|
| Best-in-Slot | Jadefall's Splendor Jadefall's Splendor Base ATK: 608 Bonus Stat: HP 49.6% Skill Effect: For 3s after using an Elemental Burst or creating a shield, the equipping character can gain the Primordial Jade Regalia effect: Restore 4.5 Energy every 2.5s, and gain 0.3% Elemental DMG Bonus for their corresponding Elemental Type for every 1,000 Max HP they possess, up to 12%. Primordial Jade Regalia will still take effect even if the equipping character is not on the field. |
| Jadefall's Splendor offers Baizhu the most amount of HP, Energy generation, and bonus Dendro DMG percentages just by virtue of Baizhu running his combo. | |
| EM-Based | A Thousand Floating Dreams A Thousand Floating Dreams Base ATK: 542 Bonus Stat: Elemental Mastery 265 Skill Effect: Equipping Character gains buffs based on other party members' elemental type. |
| If Baizhu is run as an on-field Dendro driver, then A Thousand Floating Dreams becomes a viable option for him due to the EM bonuses and damage it provides, helping with facilitating reactions like Aggravate or Quickbloom. | |
| F2P (Craftable) | Prototype Amber Prototype Amber Base ATK: 510 Bonus Stat: HP 41.3% Skill Effect: Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 4 Energy every 2s for 6s. Additionally, all party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2s for this duration. |
| In most cases, this weapon at R5 offers similar effect to Jadefall's Splendor in terms of sustainability, but does not offer much for DPS, which is usually not a problem for Baizhu. | |

Regardless of how you choose to play him, Baizhu benefits the most from Deepwood Memories due to its universal usefulness for both him and his team regardless of build.
Specific healer playstyles can instead opt to use the likes of Song of Days Past for a more supportive role, or Ocean-Hued Clam if they want Baizhu himself to deal damage.

| Best-in-Slot | Deepwood Memories Deepwood Memories 2-PC: Dendro DMG Bonus +15% 4-PC: After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets' Dendro RES will be decreased by 30% for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field. |
| Baizhu's universal set regardless of build since anything he does contributes to Dendro RES shred from Deepwood's effects. | |
| Healer | Song of Days Past Song of Days Past 2-PC: Healing Bonus +15% 4-PC: When the equipping character heals a party member, the Yearning effect will be created for 6s, which records the total amount of healing provided (including overflow healing). Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect. |
| Healer-based supportive set that takes Baizhu's healing into a tally, then buffs your active character's attacks. More optimal if playing him fully as a healer. | |
| Healer Alt | Ocean-Hued Clam Ocean-Hued Clam 2-PC: Healing Bonus +15% 4-PC: When the character with this artifact set heals a party member, 1 Foam will appear. It accumulates healed HP for 3 seconds, then explodes and deals 90% of the HP healed as DMG to nearby enemies. Max accumulated healing is 30,000 HP, including over-heal. There can only be 1 Foam active, but it stays even if you swap out. Foam CD is 3.5s. |
| Similar to Song of Days Past, but the damage buff affects Baizhu himself, with the potential to trigger elemental reactions. Can be taken if you want Baizhu to perform as a Sub-DPS/Support hybrid. | |
| Stat Priority | ||
|---|---|---|
| Substats: (Elemental Mastery) > Energy Recharge > HP% |
||
| Summary: • Elemental Mastery should only be prioritized if using Baizhu as a Dendro driver. Otherwise, Energy Recharge then HP. • Healing Bonus is viable if Baizhu's healing is more important than his shielding. |

List of Artifacts and Set Bonuses
Baizhu excels in team safety with his heals and shields, which is perfect for teams whose Main DPS rely on such defense, and especially for the likes of Lunar-Bloom teams that rely on the shielding to stay alive.
He is also a good all-rounder for Spread, Aggravate, Burgeon and Hyperbloom team comps as a comfort pick.

Team Summary Most of Baizhu's Dendro teams are a mash-up of whether or not he wants to be in an Aggravate/Quicken team, or a Hyperbloom team, in which the only difference is the presence of a Hydro member. |

Team Summary These teams can either be Burgeon-based, in which a presence like Yelan or Xingqiu works with Baizhu to give Thoma more Bloom Cores to detonate, or pure burning teams with the likes of Kinich or Emilie. |

|
Team Summary Baizhu also still functions in traditional Bloom teams when paired with Nilou, since Baizhu's sustain and reliability makes this team incredibly safe to use. Alternate Teammates Kokomi is a viable teammate for this build, but runs the risk of severely overcapping on healing and reducing the overall amount of Dendro cores produced on the field. |

| Baizhu's Constellations | |
|---|---|
| C1 |
Attentive Observation Universal Diagnosis gains 1 additional charge. |
| C2 |
Incisive Discernment When your own active character hits a nearby opponent with their attacks, Baizhu will unleash a Gossamer Sprite: Splice. Gossamer Sprite: Splice will initiate 1 attack before returning, dealing 250% of Baizhu's ATK as Dendro DMG and healing for 20% of Universal Diagnosis's Gossamer Sprite's normal healing. DMG dealt this way is considered Elemental Skill DMG. This effect can be triggered once every 5s. |
| C3 |
All Aspects Stabilized Increases the level of Holistic Revivification by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| C4 |
Ancient Art of Perception For 15s after Holistic Revivification is used, Baizhu will increase all nearby party members' Elemental Mastery by 80. |
| C5 |
The Hidden Ebb and Flow Increases the Level of Universal Diagnosis by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| C6 |
Elimination of Malicious Qi Increases the DMG dealt by Holistic Revivification's Spiritveins by 8% of Baizhu's Max HP. Additionally, when a Gossamer Sprite or Gossamer Sprite: Splice hits opponents, there is a 100% chance of generating one of Holistic Revivification's Seamless Shields. This effect can only be triggered once by each Gossamer Sprite or Gossamer Sprite: Splice. |
| Rating | Constellation Effect / Merits | |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | ★★☆ | • Adds 1 more Elemental Skill charge, reducing his Energy Recharge requirements. |
| C2 | ★★★ | • Hitting an enemy with any character sends out Baizhu's minor version of his skill, which applies Dendro and heals allies for 20% of the skill's potency even without him expending any of his skills. |
| C6 | ★★★ | • Increases DMG of the Burst's projectile attacks, and gives the active character a free shield in conjunction with his C2. |
Baizhu's best constellations are at C2 and C6, which enables him to heal and create shields regularly even without his burst. These also enable Baizhu to constantly apply Dendro off-field.
However, Baizhu is already an excellent character at C0. All his constellations improve his efficiency as an off-field Support but are not required if you solely want him as your healer.

| Five Fortunes Forever |
|---|
| Baizhu gains different effects according to the current HP of your current active character: • When their HP is less than 50%, Baizhu gains 20% Healing Bonus. • When their HP is equal to or more than 50%, Baizhu gains 25% Dendro DMG Bonus. |
| All Things Are of the Earth |
|---|
| Characters who are healed by Seamless Shields will gain the Year of Verdant Favor effect: Each 1,000 Max HP that Baizhu possesses that does not exceed 50,000 will increase the Burning, Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon reaction DMG dealt by these characters by 2%, while the Aggravate and Spread reaction DMG dealt by these characters will be increased by 0.8%. This effect lasts 6s. |
