South of the House of Hesperides

Genshin - Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow Location

Go south of the House of Hesperides, east of Tidesong Cavern south of Snezhnaya to find the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow boss. Her location doesn't have any unlock requirements.

If the location is currently stuck in a snowstorm, you can wait for the weather to pass, or use a Linking Mechanism Prime Ice Construct from other players to transport yourself to this location.

How to Beat Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow

Break Shield with Stellar-Glimmer DMG or Pyro to Break the Ice Coffin

Genshin - Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow Ice Coffin

Once the boss' HP falls below 50%, the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow will encase herself in an Ice Coffin. This coffin is a hefty Cryo Shield that you must destroy before she finishes channeling her big attack. Failing to destroy it on time heals her, then forges an ice blade which can be fatal.

The shield is particularly vulnerable with Stellar-Glimmer DMG (Stellar-Swirl or Stellar-Conduct), so immediately start dealing the aforementioned damage to destroy it.

Regular Pyro, Electro, and Anemo Attacks are Also Viable

Outside of Stellar-Glimmer DMG, you can also opt to use Pyro to melt the Cryo shield, or regular Electro and Anemo attacks to destroy the ice coffin.

The boss is generally receptive to all reactive elements to Cryo for her shield mechanic, which means other than Stellar-Glimmer DMG, regular Pyro, Electro, and Anemo comps should still be able to remove her shield without worries.

For the optimal teambuilding, focus on Stellar-Glimmer teams to immediately destroy the Ice Coffin. Vesna and Cyno are good units that you can build a team around.
