As a Main DPS Vesna is a highly mobile and highly potent Stellar-Swirl unit, reminiscent of Zibai's gameplay and performance, and is the meta dedicated DPS for Stellar-Swirl but with more accessible supports. With an easy-to-use yet powerful kit, she no doubt solidifies herself in SS as one of the easier-accessibility DPS units in the game. Specifically, Vesna surpasses Zibai not just in power, but also in accessibility due having allies like Qiqi, the Cryo Traveler, and Faruzan in her side of the court for starters, and allies like Odette and Vodyanitsa for more premium usage. While this is not unique to just Vesna, and you can achieve similar effects with other Stellar-Swirl units like Mizuki, the ceiling for Vesna remains higher and is worth investing in if you already have the supports required for a working Vesna team. Now it brings us to her true downside of not exactly being revolutionary at baseline strength due to Mizuki at C2 achieving similar effects. There is the point that Vesna is simply flashier to play and more effective in AoE scenarios, but Mizuki is essentially free and accessible at any time. Vesna herself is so powerful that a large chunk of her damage and effectiveness has to come from the allies present, which is a coin flip on whether or not most people will have these allies in the first place. |

At 3 stacks, the CRIT DMG of any Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG caused by the equipping character is increased by 50%, and triggering Stellar Glimmer reactions or Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG will also restore 4 Elemental Energy to the character. This Energy recovery effect can trigger once every 3.5s. Can be triggered even when the equipping character is off-field. Azurelight Base ATK: 674 Bonus Stat: CRIT Rate 22.1% Skill Effect: Within 12s after an Elemental Skill is used, ATK is increased by 24%. During this time, when the equipping character has 0 Energy, ATK will be further increased by 24%, and CRIT DMG will be increased by 40%. Scarlet Proof Scarlet Proof 2-PC: ATK increased by 18%. 4-PC: Increases the equipping character's CRIT Rate by 16%, and their Stellar Swirl reaction dealt by 40%, for 10s after they trigger a Stellar Swirl reaction. |

Viridescent Venerer Viridescent Venerer 2-PC: Anemo DMG Bonus +15% 4-PC: Increases Swirl Reaction DMG dealt by 60%, and Stellar Swirl reaction DMG dealt by 20%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s. Upon triggering a Stellar Swirl in the opponent, will also decrease their Cryo RES by 40%. RES debuffs of the same elemental type do not stack. |
||||
| General Team Comps | ||||
| Vesna's best team in her release with C6 Faruzan, which can buff her overall damage. |
Same teammates, but Vodyanitsa replaces Faruzan for the healing and Wandering Vortex. |
|||
Vesna's build will primarily focus on her Stellar-Swirl DMG, which scales with ATK, so you will want an ATK%/ATK%/CRIT setup to fully utilize her damage and increase its potency.
Grab Energy Recharge until the requirement to do her Burst consistently since you generally want to do it amidst her combos.
| Stat | Goal Value |
|---|---|
| ATK | 2,000~3,000 |
| Energy Recharge | 100%~135% |
| CRIT Rate | 50%~60% |
| CRIT DMG | 180% or Above |
| Elemental Mastery | 120 - 180 |
As a Stellar-Swirl DPS, you will want to have ATK as much as possible to boost its overall damage.
Afterwards, prioritize Energy Recharge, which isn't really much, especially with other Anemo units in the team, so you will naturally want somewhere around ~120% to comfortably Burst in her rotations.
CRIT Ratio should be the usual 1:2 ratio, and Elemental Mastery is a good addition to her stats, but not necessarily a priority.
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd |
|---|---|---|
| Elemental Skill | Elemental Burst | Normal Attack |
Vesna primarily relies on her Elemental Skill to enter the Anemo Infusion state to deal damage, you will naturally prioritize that first. Second is Elemental Burst, but generally, it's almost the same importance with Elemental Skill since it is a part of her combos.
Since she has Anemo Infusion through her Skill, Normal Attacks is the least of your priorities.
Beyond the Chrysalis is her signature weapon and most likely her best-in-slot as well, since it is very likely to have a passive catered to her.
Alternative options that you can have is Whitelake Frostfeather, which is Odette's signature weapon and can perform similarly to her own signature weapon. Emberwell is the best F2P option that you can have since it has ATK and EM for its stats; both are useful for Stellar-Swirl.

| Best-in-Slot | Beyond the Chrysalis Beyond the Chrysalis Base ATK: 674 Bonus Stat: CRIT DMG 44.1% Skill Effect: • Each time the equipping character uses Elemental Skill or Burst, they gain one of three effects in sequence: Winds of Devotion: Increases the wielder's CRIT DMG by 56% for 10s. Winds of Defiance: Increases Stellar Swirl Reaction DMG dealt by the wielder by 36% for 10s. Winds of Plenty: Regenerates 5 Elemental Energy for the wielder. Up to 5 Elemental Energy can be regenerated this way every 4s. The effects and the sequence are removed when the wielder leaves the field. |
| This is her signature weapon and most likely going to be her best-in-slot because of this very reason. | |
| Alternative | Whitelake Frostfeather Whitelake Frostfeather Base ATK: 674 Bonus Stat: CRIT Rate 22.1% Skill Effect: • When the equipping character hits an opponent with their Elemental Skill, they gain "Lake-Hued Lament": ATK increases by 8% for 8s. This effect can trigger once every 0.1s. Max 3 stacks, and each stack's duration is independent. |
| Whitelake Frostfeather is one of the best weapons that you can have for Vesna. This weapon can provide ATK, CRIT DMG, and Stellar-Glimmer DMG buffs that are all appreciated by Vesna. If you have this weapon, you can forgo getting her signature weapon since it can perform very similarly. |
|
| F2P (Craftable) | Emberwell Emberwell Base ATK: 565 Bonus Stat: Elemental Mastery 110 Skill Effect: • Triggering an Elemental Reaction increases the equipping character's ATK by 16% for 12s. Triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction increases their Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by 16% for 12s. The aforementioned effects can trigger even when the character is not on the field. |
| Emberwell buffs Stellar-Glimmer DMG while also providing ATK% to its wielder. On top of that, it also has an Elemental Mastery stat. This is Vesna's best F2P option. |

Scarlet Proof is naturally her best-in-slot since its catered for Stellar-Swirl DMG and can further provide ATK buffs.
Viridescent Venerer is a great alternative, especially if the team doesn't have much RES Shred. You can also opt for double 2-pc ATK artifact as a temporary option to increase her damage.
We highly recommend farming for Scarlet Proof for the best damage and resin-efficiency.
| Best Artifact Sets for Vesna | |
|---|---|
| Best-in-Slot | Scarlet Proof Scarlet Proof 2-PC: ATK increased by 18%. 4-PC: Increases the equipping character's CRIT Rate by 16%, and their Stellar Swirl reaction dealt by 40%, for 10s after they trigger a Stellar Swirl reaction. |
| Vesna's best set since it is tailor-made for Stellar-Swirl. Moreover, the ATK stat from its 2-pc is also appreciated for Vesna's DMG. | |
| Alternative | Viridescent Venerer Viridescent Venerer 2-PC: Anemo DMG Bonus +15% 4-PC: Increases Swirl Reaction DMG dealt by 60%, and Stellar Swirl reaction DMG dealt by 20%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s. Upon triggering a Stellar Swirl in the opponent, will also decrease their Cryo RES by 40%. RES debuffs of the same elemental type do not stack. |
| An alternative to Scarlet Proof that performs worse but still viable, depending on the team composition. This is best used for teams that don't have much RES Shred. | |
| Temporary/ F2P |
Gladiator's Finale x2 2-PC: ATK +18%. 4-PC: If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%. A Day Carved from Rising Winds x2 2-PC: ATK +18%. 4-PC: After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, gain the Blessing of Pastoral Winds effect for 6s: ATK is increased by 25%. If the equipping character has completed Witch's Homework, Blessing of Pastoral Winds will be upgraded to Resolve of Pastoral Winds, which also increases the CRIT Rate of the equipping character by an additional 20%. This effect can be triggered even when the character is off-field. |
| A 2-pc ATK combo can be used during the early build phase as a temporary set while you farm for more preferable artifacts. The 4-star variants should also still suffice. | |
| Stat Priority | ||
|---|---|---|
| Substats: Energy Recharge (until requirement) > CRIT DMG >= CRIT Rate >= ATK > Elemental Mastery |
||
| Summary: • Energy Recharge only until requirement, but you can also forgo this if you only intend to Burst every other rotation. • Aiming for a CRIT Ratio of 1:2 is ideal, so prioritize either CRIT DMG or CRIT Rate, depending on which one is lacking. • Stellar-Swirl dictates that Vesna needs as much ATK as she can. • Anemo DMG% on Goblet is not recommended. |

List of Artifacts and Set Bonuses
Vesna's best team is Stellar-Swirl teams since her entire kit centers around that reaction. This is pretty much her only team archetype that she can fit in to.
As a Stellar DPS, she will naturally synergize very well with Odette, and with her being an Anemo unit, C6 Faruzan is also slated to be one of her best teammates.

Team Summary Vesna's best Stellar-Swirl team composition with Odette and Cryo Traveler to further boost her damage. Alternate Teammates For the fourth slot, you can use C6 Faruzan to add another layer of buffs to Vesna's buff, but she lacks any sustain. You can opt for Vodyanitsa for RES Shred and healing. Both are viable options and its just a matter of which one is your priority, if its damage or sustain. |

| Alternative | Explanation |
|---|---|
|
|
Support Odette's main gimmick is buffing Stellar-Glimmer damage, which will naturally have her slotted in most of Vesna's best teams. |
|
|
Sub-DPS One of Vesna's bes Sub-DPS with high personal DMG. Their off-field capabilites allows Vesna to comfortable trigger Stellar-Swirl. |
|
|
Sub-DPS/Support Massive Anemo and CRIT DMG boost that can boost Vesna's damage massively. |
|
|
Sub-DPS/Support Vodyanitsa can transform Stellar Vortex into Wandering Vortex that can decrease Anemo and Cryo RES Shred that allows Stellar-Swirl DMG to be more potent. Vodyanitsa can also heal, which can add comfort in Vesna's rotation. |

• Increases the highest level that the Windborne Sword can level up. • First usage of the Windborne Sword will not consume Sword Essence. • Damage increase when she is in her Elemental Skill state. |
| C2 | ★★★ |
• Immediately gains full stacks of Disciplinary Actions when she uses Elemental Skill. • Gains 40% ATK when Disciplinary Actions are fully stacked. |
| C6 | ★★★ |
• Can now use a new and more powerful version of Windborne Sword when it is at its highest level. • Vesna also have coordinated attack weave in her Elemental Skill. |
Vesna and Mizuki has similar roles and usually overlaps with their teammates.
Vesna does slightly better output than Mizuki in C0R0 scenarios, but she pulls significantly ahead if you pull her signature weapon, Beyond the Chrysalis, even if Mizuki is C2.
C2 has a great quality of life addition to it by bypassing the need to stack the Disciplinary Actions. This also has synergistic value with her C1, allowing her to have multiple sources of ATK buffs.
Vesna is slated to become the first unit dedicated to Stellar-Swirl. She mainly deals damage through her Elemental Skill's Anemo Infusion and her Special Skill, Windborne Sword, which will increase her damage with each use.
As a Stellar-Linchpin unit, Vesna has the ability to transform Cryo Swirl into Stellar-Swirl with her presence alone. With this, she also has access to Radiance: Stellar-Swirl state, which can enable buffs for her and other Stellar-Linchpins.
| Truth Prevails |
|---|
| Radiance: Stellar Swirl: Vesna will gain the corresponding effect based on the Elemental Type of her party members: • For every Cryo or Anemo character in her current party, Vesna's ATK increases by 6%; and • For every character of all other Elemental Types in her current party, Vesna's Elemental Mastery increases by 25 instead. |
The buffs that she can receive when entering the Radiance state will be dependent on her teammates.
Cryo or Anemo units will increase her ATK.
Any other elements will increase her Elemental Mastery.
Whenever Vesna enter this state, she will gain stacks of Sword Essence and will gradually continue to do so. Vesna can consume the Sword Essence to perform a Special Skill, Windborne Sword, that can deal more damage.
The level of Windborne Sword will increase each time Vesna performs a Special Skill. After one use, the Windborne Sword can summon a Spirit Blade to deal additional damage.
It has a maximum of three levels, and after the third one, Vesna will leave the Special State.
Vesna will summon Spirit Blades to deal multiple instance AoE Anemo damage. It is likely that this is best to use at the tail-end of the rotation.
| The Grand Circuit |
|---|
| Holding on Sprint or Jump when Vesna is not in combat will cause her to enter the Coursing state. |
Vesna has the ability to fly around, similar to Wanderer, whenever she holds her Sprint or Jump to enter Coursing State. While in this state, it will consume Stamina, whenever Vesna flies around.
