Exalted Master of the Heretical Path Boss Fight Location
Northside of the Chatrakam Cave
Exalted Master of the Heretical Path is found inside a Trounce Domain located on the north side of Chatrakam Cave. It is below the cliff, and there is no domain whatsoever; it's just a plain field. Going near the area will prompt the domain entrance.

The key to defeating Exalted Master of the Heretical Path is to bring characters that can deal consecutive damage, like off-field sub-dps or Burning reaction, especially the ones that follow your active character, to immediately destroy the shield nodes that he summons during Phase 2 and during his charging phase.
However, do keep in mind that it's not a strict requirement, as you can still destroy the nodes and prevent him from charging if you're fast enough and have enough damage, but it does help a lot in defeating him with ease.

F2P options are easily accessed teams, but keep in mind that you might find more difficulty compared to 5-star team options.
How to Beat Exalted Master of the Heretical Path
Dodge His Attacks During Phase 1
During Phase 1, Dottore’s attacks can deal massive damage, and some of his moves allow him to teleport all over the place. It's best to be mindful of his attacks to dodge them and to keep him in view.
Alternatively, you can bring a shielder for more comfort, but it is still best to have him in your sight, as it is easy to lose during his attack patterns.
Defeat Dottore Phase 1
Once you figure out his movesets, you can easily burst him down to go to the next phase. Once defeated, the boss fight will immediately shift to Phase 2.
At some point during his onslaught, there's a moment where he is stationary. It's a perfect opportunity to do all your damage against him.
Destroy the Shield Nodes in Phase 2
Once you enter Phase 2, Dottore will first attack several times before teleporting to the other side. If you see him teleport, immediately turn around and go to either side and destroy the shield nodes. He will teleport to the other side from where he started.
It's also important to take note that it's best to immediately deploy any sort of consecutive damage, like off-field damage, once you see him teleport to properly set it up and help you in destroying the nodes.
Off-Field Summons Automatically Targets the Shield Nodes
An easy way to quickly destroy the shield nodes is to utilize summons that can deal off-field damage and follows you around. For instance, Ineffa's Birgitta and Furina's Salon Solitaire can start attacking the nodes, even if you haven't reached them.
Do note, however, that some summons require them to be near the node for them to attack like Fischl and Yae Miko.
Summons a Wall to Prevent You From Destroying the Nodes
If you failed to get to the nodes in time, Dottore will summon a wall that encompasses the entire area to push you back on the other side to prevent you in reaching the nodes. Hence, it's best to rush toward the nodes once you see him teleport to prevent this wall from stalling you.
Use Continuous DMG During His Charge Phase in Phase 2
The shield nodes were set in place to allow Dottore to charge his burst attack. Once you have destroyed one of his shield nodes, you must deal continuous damage to prevent him from fully charging his attack. This is indicated on the white circular meter below his HP bar on the right side. Depleting this bar will deal damage to him and make him vulnerable.
Alternatively, it's possible to prevent him from charging by dealing a massive amount of damage, but it's best to treat his charging phase meter like a Void Ward, similar to the Tenebrous Papilla, so identical methods should work against him.
Deals Massive DMG to Characters If Fully Charged
If you failed to deplete the meter in time, the burst can one shot practically any character. The burst cannot be dodged, as it is unavoidable in most cases.
