Stats to Consider CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK%, Energy Recharge

Running Tartaglia's Nymph's Dream build is recommended to take on this challenge. Energy Recharge is slightly optional, but only if you make sure to use his Ranged Elemental Burst instead of his Melee.

This challenge is all about defeating all the enemies within the time limit, so you need to equip Tartaglia with CRIT or Normal Attack-enhancing Bows to boost his personal damage. Polar Star is the best option for this, though other bows like Aqua Simulacra, Skyward Harp, or even Rust can suffice.

Tartaglia's best option is a full Nymph's Dream set since he can easily trigger its full effect. Otherwise, 2-pc. ATK and Hydro combinations will serve him well.

While he can also utilize 4-pc. Heart of Depth, it provides him less ATK% than if he went with 2-pc. combinations, so keep that in mind.

Artifact Sub Stats CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK%

Regardless of your build, CRIT and ATK% are your main priority, with CRIT Rate having slightly higher priority than CRIT DMG. Try your best to get him to 80% CRIT Rate for consistency, and the rest into CRIT DMG and ATK%.

ATK% should generally be at 1,800 or more if on Nymph's Dream since Tartaglia will build up the damage overtime. Otherwise, aim for 2,000 on 2-pc. combinations.

Defeat All Opponents

Tartaglia's Envisaged Echoes challenge is a straightforward combat gauntlet that will challenge your knowledge of Tartaglia's Riptide mechanic and cooldown management.

While the arena is lathered with wave after wave of enemies, you must especially pay attention to the Anemo Hilichurl Rogue on Round 1, the Abyss Lector and Abyss Mage on Round 2, and the Ruin Guards on Round 3.

Vaporize the Hilichurl Rogue

Near the center of the arena, there is a device that emits a Pyro aura to everyone around you. Use this to your advantage and try to hit the Hilichurl Rogue with a Vaporized Elemental Burst to take them down quickly.

If you are unable to hit the timing for this, then use your Elemental Skill to cleave through them.

Focus the Abyss Mage and Use your Bow on the Lector

On Round 2, focus down the Abyss Mage right away since they can stall for time if left unchecked. Their shields will go down quickly after a few melee hits, so this is a good time to use your Elemental Skill to burst them down.

Use the remainder of your Elemental Skill to bring the Abyss Lector to their 2nd phase, then swap out of your Skill and poke down his Pyro shield with your Hydro ranged shots.

Apply Riptide Before Casting Melee Elemental Burst

Lastly, for the Ruin Guards, make sure you hit a CRIT attack on each one at least once to apply Riptide to them, then use your Melee Elemental Burst to tear through the whole pack.

You will likely only be able to get this off once, so use it either on the 2nd or 3rd batch of Ruin Guards on Round 4.

Use Charged Shots on the Hilichurl Shooters

A few times during the fight, a row of 4 Hilichurl Shooters will spawn on out-of-bound hills behind you as you fight the other units.

Simply dodge through their volley of arrows, then land one Charged Shot on any of them. If your damage is enough, the Riptide proc should kill all four in one go.

Tartaglia Echo Challenge Combat Rotation

Normal Attack-Oriented Rotation
Elemental Skill → Normal Attack x2 → Charged Attack → Repeat Normal and Charged combo 3 times → Swap back to Ranged

This challenge is far more lenient if you have C1 Tartaglia, but for the most part, you want to make sure you don't spend too long in melee mode or else you run the risk of having long downtimes.

The best time to use this rotation is against the batches of hilichurl fodder opponents that swarm you, and the first phase of the Pyro Abyss Lector.
