Down in the Dumps Quest Walkthrough
Find a Way to Get Out of the Sewer and Back to the Surface
After falling down the sewer, you must navigate through the rooms until you find a way back to the surface.

| 1 |  Follow the path ahead and drop down to the next room. |
| 2 |  Grapple on the Freeze Mark, turn left, and rotate the mechanism to open the gate. |
| 3 |  In the next room, there will be another gate that requires rotating a mechanism to open, but will get stuck without fully opening. Sprint towards the gate and press the sprint key again to slide through the gap under the gate. |
| 4 |  Hop on the wooden board with a grapple point on your right and construct a Grappling Gun in the middle of the water so that it pulls the board closer towards the other room. |
| 5 |  Remove the same Grappling Gun you just created and let the other Grappling Gun pull you all the way to the next room. |
Investigate the Control Room in the Sewer
Interact with the book on the table in the corner of the room to see the Sewer Entrance and Exit Guide left by Doctor Moreau. The note also shows the locations of the three keys that you need to collect to unlock the gate ahead.
Collect All Three Keycards
Goggles will immediately detect the Blue Key in the same room, but the Red and White Keys will require the other two to access their respective locations.

| 1 |  Grab the Blue Key from the device next to the door you entered from. |
| 2 |  Insert the Blue Key into the other device to the northwest. This will open the gate ahead. |
| 3 |  Before you proceed, construct a Cube beneath the gate, then take the Blue Key. This will get the gate "stuck" instead of closing completely, allowing you to slide through the gap with the Blue Key in hand. |
| 4 |  On the other side, insert the Blue Key to the device on the right to partly drain the water in the room. |
| 5 |  Remove the Blue Key and quickly jump down to the device below, then insert the Blue Key into it before the water rises again. This will unlock the room to where the White Key is. |
| 6 |  Grab the White Key and construct a Grappling Hook near the grapple point to break the wall down. |
| 7 |  Return to the previous room and insert the White Key on the left device. Let Paimon grab the Blue Key from the lower device, then reinsert it into the right device. |
| 8 |  Pass through the newly opened path at the bottom until you reach a room with several Leshy. Go up the platform on your left and pick up the Red Key next to the Leshy. |
| 9 |  After dealing with the awakened Leshy, return to the upper level through the other side of the room, and grab both the White and Blue Keys. |
Cryoculus 33 Location
Cryoculus 33 is found in the drainage channel on the way to the room where the Red Key is.

Open the Control Room Door
Take all three keys back to the gate and slot them into the control board next to it to proceed.
Explore Up Ahead
Inside the next room, you'll notice that the rotating mechanism next to the gate doesn't have its control wheel. Goggles will then immediately detect it on the Leshy's head inside the capsule.
Since there is no way to climb its body to take the control wheel, you must disturb its slumber by shooting the Leshy and engaging it in a fight. This Leshy is more aggressive than the ones you fought before, so be prepared.
Pick Up the Wheel From the Leshy's Body
Defeating Klenova the Ascended will also drop the Sewer Lift Control Wheel. Pick the wheel up from where the Leshy fell so you can use it to open the gate to the lift.
Some players report a bug in which the Leshy doesn't drop the Sewer Lift Control Wheel after being defeated. If this happens to you, try fast-traveling elsewhere to refresh the area, then return to check whether the control wheel appears. This bug should receive a hotfix in the near future.
Return to the Surface
Take the control wheel and use it to open the gate that leads to the elevator. Ride the elevator to the top and you will soon return to the surface after following the stairs ahead.
