Complete the Through the Gates of Ivory Quest
To unlock The Sun's Gilded Apple, you must have completed the first subquest of Hesperides of Love and Hate, Through the Gates of Ivory!

The Sun's Gilded Apple Walkthrough
Go to the marked courtyard
To start, use the teleporter to go back to the front door, or jump through the balcony to head to the Courtyard north of the house. This will pull you into a cutscene with the keeper, Ladon.
Sneak into the garden to recover the fragment
After getting Paimon to distract the keeper, you will be tasked to sneak around the courtyard and head to the tree where the doll is. Use Prime Ice Constructs to block the Jack Frosts' view and make it easier to move around.
How to Sneak Through the Garden

| 1 |  After distracting Ladon, head up the nearby ledge using the fallen pillar. |

| 2 |  Drop down the ledge and head west. Do keep in mind the Jack Frosts and use your Prime Ice Constructs to block their view. |

| 3 |  In the next area, head up the stairs that contains the Cryoculus. This should take you to another area with a Precious Chest. |
|
| 4 |  Weave through the Jack Frosts and head up the stairs to get to the tree! |
|
| 5 |  After getting to the tree, you will notice you cannot climb it. Make use of Prime Ice Constructs to gain height to be able to grab it. |

The Sun's Gilded Apple is a subquest of the quest, Hesperides of Love and Hate, which is one of the quests where you can obtain a fragment of the Eye of Graeae's power.
The Sun's Gilded Apple is the fourth part of the Hesperides of Love and Hate world quest chain. This quest is required to progress the Procrustes' Iron Bed quest.
