Complete A Divergence Leading to Oneself Quest
To unlock Ancient Shadows Re-Emerge, you must have completed the previous subquest of As All Falls to Emptiness, A Divergence Leading to Oneself!
A Divergence Leading to Oneself Quest Guide
Ancient Shadows Re-Emerge Walkthrough
Enter the Temple of Silence
At the end of the previous sub-quest, you'll be left by the oasis near the Temple of Silence. Head up to the entrance and go inside.
Meet up with Everyone
Inside the Temple of Silence, go up the stairs for the next cutscenes.
Ask About Collei's Secret
Go up the stairs to the right when facing the hall of statues, into the hallway and then to the right in a room full of books for the next scene.
Go to the Great Hall of Truths
After the scene, go down the stairs and to the hallway on the left, where tons of books and several NPCs can be found. The quest will proceed after you go to the other side of the room and interact with the exit.
There are extra scenes between Nicole, Faruzan, and Kaveh at the front of central bookcase. You can also find Collei on the other side, Layla on another, and Tighnari and Cyno by the stairs. Dehya, Jeht, and Nefer are at the bottom of the stairs.
Go Deeper into the Great Hall of Truths
Inside the Great Hall of Truths, just follow the path forward until you get to the glowing, blue pyramid and interact with it.
Investigate Aaru's Shut
Approach the pyramid and bird statues in this new room to enter the next cutscenes and complete this quest!
After the quest concludes, you can still talk to the characters left in the area. Heryshaf, Thot, and Sobek will be right by the large staircase, while Jeht and Liloupar are nearby. On the left side of the pyramid, Sethos and Nefer are talking. Above the stairs near them are Tighnari and Cyno, as well as Naphis and Cyrus.
