In this stage, when a character triggers Swirl, both the Anemo and the corresponding element will receive a damage boost. Varka and Fischl are available as trial characters. Use Fischl to deal off-field Electro DMG and alleviate Varka's Hexerei team requirement. Varka can then infuse his attacks with Electro because of Fischl.

Do keep in mind that Varka requires 2 Anemo characters and at least 2 other characters of the same element (PHEC) with one being a Hexerei member to be optimally effective with his Elemental Skill.

Alternatively, you can use other Anemo characters as an on-field driver, like Sucrose or Mizuki.

How to Beat Like the Howling Gale

Trigger Swirl for the Buffs

The stage provides a massive elemental damage buff when you trigger Swirl to a PHEC (Pyro - Hydro - Electro - Cryo) Element. Utilize this by using Anemo characters to swirl elements.

Keep in mind that only the active character's swirl can make use of the buff, as switching out from your active character will remove the elemental damage boost. Varka, Sucrose, Mizuki, and Chasca are viable options for this stage, as they are Anemo units that are on-fielders.

• When the active character triggers a Swirl reaction, the Anemo DMG and the corresponding Swirled Pyro/Hydro/Electro/Cryo DMG increase by 75% for 6s. This effect is removed when the character leaves the field.

The trial characters will always be at level 90 and have the same stats regardless of the stage difficulty.

Varka is an Anemo DPS that can infuse his attacks with the element of his team. Fischl is a Hexerei character that has excellent off-field Electro DMG. This easily alleviates Varka's Hexerei team requirement and can easily infuse his attacks with Electro.
