Unlock Through the Gates of Ivory Quest

Genshin Impact - Hesperides of Love and Hate - Through the Gates of Ivory Quest

Players can access For an Ice Mirror Fragment by going through a cave that leads them up the mountain within the World Quest Through the Gates of Ivory.

While not exactly part of the Quest by itself, this makes the journey upward a lot easier to reach, instead of just slowly climbing up the mountain walls.

Great Deeds on the Tundra

To be able to get to Fellfrost Peak, players need to reach a point during the Archon Quest Chapter VII Act 1: Great Deeds on the Tundra where the Traveler and Paimon reaches Snezhnograd after they find a place to stay. This is where players can now begin to roam around Snehznaya without barriers.

Once there, players can call for the Train in the Central Station using the Eye of Graeae, then head to Svetloledovka as the nearest town location to begin finding the invitation.

For an Ice Mirror Fragment is located at Fellfrost Peak, in the nation of Snezhnaya. It automatically triggers when you enter a cave to the south of the Statue of the Seven in the area.

Explore the cave

Genshin Impact - For an Ice Mirror Fragment - Remove Prime Ice via Eye of Graeae

Once you reach the Statue of the Seven at Fellfrost Peak, make a turn to the left, where a cave can be seen at the bottom of the mountain. Enter that to discover someone may be trapped inside, and use the Eye of Graeae to remove the Prime Ice.

Once deeper into the cave after removing the Prime Ice, you will come across some camping gear. Defeat all the monsters in the area for a Precious Chest, then continue onward to progress deeper into the cave.

Once near the designated area, Paimon directs you on where to go. Climb up the elevation and continue on.

When you reach the wall of Prime Ice, remove it using the Eye of Graeae. This is where you will find the camper from earlier.

After the Prime Ice wall is removed, continue onward to find the person trapped in the icy cave. Make sure to have Prime Ice Resource and Kresnik Energy ready to construct Basic Heat Sources if you are starting to feel Bitter Cold.

Drift on the glacier until you reach the shore

When you get to the trapped camper behind the Prime Ice, the roof collapses, and you end up with him on a small piece of a glacier floating on water.

You have to ride it along the path, removing Prime Ice that blocks the path, or slaying Hilichurls who will fire arrows at you or at the ice beneath you. Be careful with the latter, as a few hits from the Hilichurls' arrows can cause the glacier to break. Reach the shore to talk to Martos about him continuing to formally finish the quest.

Exit the cave by breaking Prime Ice

Although the quest has already ended, you have to exit the cave still. Pushing onward just a bit further by melting ice with your Basic Heat Source, you will see a huge Prime Ice Construct that you can break beside a Luxurious Chest.

Remove it with your Eye of Graeae, and you should be able to exit by creating a Link Mechanism and ziplining yourself up and out. This should get you to an area closer to the marked location for the World Quest chain Hesperides of Love and Hate.
