List of Contents

Gunfire in the Silent Lands Quest Guide

To collect all Eye of Graeae Fragments, you have to complete three quest series that will reward you one fragment of the eye. Completing each series automatically progresses your fragment count, which you can also verify by looking for Pebbles in your inventory!
How to Collect All Eye of Graeae Fragments
| Quests for All Eye of Graeae Fragments | |
|---|---|
| In the Dwelling of Life | Pebble of Serpentine Algae |
| Hesperides of Love and Hate | Pebble of Freezing Heart |
| On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb | Pebble of Crystalline Essence |

With all the fragments, you can now talk to the Eye of Graeae at the Ruined Hvergelmir of the Pale Crown Palace! Teleport to the nearest waypoint, then follow the marker to the Eye's location.
Dialogue will begin upon arrival, where the Eye of Graeae will explain its desire to know the truth behind its creation.

The Eye of Graeae has its mind set on learning the truth. You will need to open the door leading to the Court of Bliss to learn more about your new companion.
Walk up to the entrance, then select Enable. You will be given two options: Yes, it's time to return, or No, let's come back to this later.
Selecting No will return you to your previous state, while selecting Yes will grant you access to the entrance. You will need to hold the designated control to consume Kresnik Energy and open the gates.

Once the gates are open, a familiar figure will greet you inside. Talk to Aksinya, who will inform you about the Primordial Human or the Belyi Tsar and its experiments for a different world.
She also mentions that the Eye of Graeae will not be coming back, and promptly leaves the Traveler and Paimon.

You now need to catch up to Aksinya using Freeze Marks. Aim, then fire at the sigil to traverse faster.
Before you can keep up, however, she will jump into a portal.
Upon reaching the end of the path, you must leap into the Shadow Realm to continue catching up to Aksinya. To head to the Shadow Realm, fire at the nearby Freeze Mark, then fall into the portal.
After a long chase, you finally find Aksinya in front of the awakened Primordial Human. A conversation will start as soon as you draw near, where they exchange ideas.
As opinions clash, you must now defeat Aksinya before her plan succeeds. After you deal the final blow, she will open portals under your feet, making you fall into the Shadow Realm.

In the Shadow Realm, you will now need to defeat the Primordial Human before it reconstructs the world.
This battle can be a little tricky, so it is recommended to keep shooting at its gold center using a long-range gun.
You will also need to dodge attacks, then head to the cart to the right to get heals.

Once you halve the Primordial Human's health, it will summon nerves to pull the train towards itself. You will need to find a way out of the situation.
To complete this objective, wait a bit while a final protocol is initiated to help you.

The final protocol will create a path from multiple users, connected through the Eye of Graeae. Follow the path to get behind the Primordial Human, with its weak spot found on its back.

When you reach the end of the path, you need to defeat the Primordial Human by attacking its exposed weak spot.
Once it is defeated, he and Aksinya will fall deep into the Shadow Realm. You will then attempt to ride the train back into the overworld, but nerves will shoot up and wrap around the vehicle.

The attached segments will attempt to pull you down with the defeated Primordial Human. You need to remove the nerves from the train before you plummet down.
To detach them, shoot the yellow section of the nerves until they fall away. These branches are also marked, making them easier for you to find.

After you escape from the nerves, you escape the Shadow Realm with Paimon. The duo realizes that Goggles cannot be returned to his normal state anymore.
Meanwhile, the Primordial Human takes on Belyi Tsar's form. He and Aksinya have their final conversation as they endlessly fall through the Shadow Realm. The quest will be completed after their conversation!
