Frost Moon Seals have a random chance of dropping when opening Precious and Luxurious Chests on the Moon's new areas; Moontide Sea and Ungien's Circle.

You can get access to these types of chests by completing quests, overworld puzzles, or defeating enemies that are guarding them.

Notification Pops up When Obtained

You will know if you have obtained an Frost Moon Seal from a chest if a text pops up saying, “Seal Obtained. Collect them all to unlock the corresponding treasure vault.”

Obtain Three Frost Moon Seals to Enter Kuuhenki's Hidden Troves

Each area on the Moon has its own treasure vault protected by a barrier. Use three Frost Moon Seals of the same kind to unlock the barrier and obtain the treasures sealed inside.
