List of Contents

Genshin Impact can feel like a daunting challenge to start considering the sheer scale of the game. Beginner players should focus on a few important things first before anything else.

Your adventure rank influences your world level, and your world level dictates the content you encounter in-game. Increasing your adventure rank will allow you to farm for better artifacts and increase the drops obtained from world bosses and overworld enemies.

Primogems are the currency you use to pull for characters and there are multiple ways to farm for primogems throughout the game.

Odette, Alyosha, and the free Cryo Traveler are great, high-value additions to your team as they make use of the Stellar Glimmer mechanic, which is essential for the current state of the game.
Pulling for the first few characters involving a new elemental reaction is always a good investment to ease the transition into the new content of the game.
Snezhnaya Map Release Date and News

Early in the game, you will receive multiple Fragile Resins, a consumable used to replenish your resin or daily energy. Use this Fragile Resin sparingly since the bulk of your farming will come after Adventure Rank 45+.

The most important part of playing Genshin Impact, or any game really, is to have fun. Play at your own pace and enjoy what the game has to offer. Make sure to take in the sights and absorb the beauty of the wonderful world of Teyvat.

For returnee players, Stellar Reunion is an event that rewards returning players with different rewards. During the event, returning players can earn rewards such as Primogems by logging in everyday. They can also receive double rewards from Ley Lines and Domains up to three times.
Players who have not checked in for at least 14 days are eligible for Stellar Reunion, which should activate automatically when they log in.

To get into the Stellar Reunion event, click the blue icon in the upper left corner of the screen, near the Mini Map.
Check out the guide below for more detailed information about the event and its rewards!

Dailies are tasks that are reset every day in the game. As a returning player, make an effort to accomplish this because it can help you rebuild your account!
Things to Do Every Day | Daily Task List

Commissions are missions that can only be accomplished four times each day.
Completing it also provides a large amount of adventure points and Mora, which can help you level up your account, thus we strongly advise you to prioritize these on a daily basis.

Resin is Genshin Impact's stamina system. You can obtain a maximum of 200 Original Resin.
Use the Resin to obtain artifacts and materials for leveling up your characters and weapons by completing Boss Challenges and Domains!
Always use Original Resin and don't let time pass while it's full!
Resin Recharge Rate and Resin Cap Guide

Dispatch quests allows you to send your characters out to complete tasks. It is strongly advised that you choose ores and exclusive region materials because they can be used to make craftable weapons!
These tasks last between 4 and 20 hours, but they continue even if you are not playing the game. It is highly recommended to do dispatch quests before taking a break from the game.

If you perform the things listed above, you should naturally complete the Battle Pass daily missions. Make sure to do this every day, as leveling up your battle pass can also earn you free items!
| Weekly Tasks |

Weeklies are activities that can be completed every week. Some weeklies may take several days to finish, so complete them as soon as you can before the end of the week because they can provide you with valuable rewards!

You can only claim weekly boss drops once every week, so make sure you complete them because you will need them to max out your character's talent level.
List of Weekly Bosses and Drops

Some regions have reputation boards with reputation quests that are reset every week. Don't forget to do this since leveling up your reputation will get you useful gadgets and other rewards such as wing gliders!

To Temper Thyself and Journey Far is a weekly event that offers free constellation. You can complete it by doing your daily missions and using up the original resin each day.
Aside with the free constellation, you can obtain essential items, so take advantage of it if you want to catch up. It's worth noting that you can only receive the constellation if you have the character from the list.
To Temper Thyself and Journey Far Guide

In addition to daily missions, the Battle Pass offers weekly missions. Completing the weekly missions will give you more BP exp, allowing you to level up faster and earn more rewards!

The game always features events that reward materials and primogems. Consider doing this event because it normally won't take long as most events are easy to complete, and you'll be able to quickly get extra primogems and resources to help build your account!

One of the steps in building your account is to build your characters. When building a character, determine which character from your list you want to prioritize first, as this will help you decide where to invest your resin.

|---|---|---|
| Spiral Abyss | Imaginarium Theater | Stygian Onslaught |
Once you've built your characters enough, you can begin challenging the main endgame modes in Genshin Impact. We recommend that you clear the early levels first because they are notably easier, and some of them, such as the Spiral Abyss, are permanent and will maintain your progress.
| Archon Quest Chapter | Hours to Progress |

| Prologue Chapter | 3 ~ 5 Hours |
| Chapter 1 | 7 ~ 8 Hours |

These estimates do not include world exploration outside of the Archon Quest's objective.
Prior to Snezhnaya, the Archon Quests totaled roughly 103 hours. This estimate excludes world quests, story quests, events, and other quests.
As the earlier Archon Quest required you to reach a certain Adventure Rank before you could progress, a newer player will most likely spend about or more than 130 hours in total.

List of New & Upcoming Characters
For both returning and new players looking to start their adventure in Teyvat, Genshin Impact offers no shortage of content, boasting an ever-growing cast of unique characters and seven regions worth of exploration and story.
Granted, the gameplay meta has entered a much more restricted and unforgiving phase. Still, the game remains well worth the playthrough, providing a captivating experience as the near-iconic tale of the siblings slowly draws to a close.
