Churldric Location

Churldric is located just south of Windrest Peak and north of Cider Lake in Mondstadt. It is situated at the center of a large stage and is very hard to miss.

How to Unlock Churldric Valiant Chronicle

Challenge Chuldric Immediately

Unlocking Churldric as a Valiant Chronicle and Local Legend requires you to first discover it in its location in the hilichurl camp north of Cider Lake.

Once you encounter Churldric, the Valiant Chronicles will automatically update itself to include the boss. Unlocking Churldric has no quest requirement.

Taking Churldric's sturdy Geo pot into account, it would be wise to bring along Geo characters that can deal a lot of DMG to it, or rely on the Overload reaction to shred the pot's HP via explosions.

A Lunar Crystallize team centered around Zibai, with Linnea, Zhongli, and Columbina providing support is your best bet. However, a normal Crystallize team will suffice.

Varesa and Mavuika working in tandem for an Overload team supported by Bennett and Xilonen is also a fantastic option.

General Strategy

Destroy the Delicious Hot Pot

After taking a certain amount of DMG, Churldric will summon a Delicious Hot Pot and start mixing a stew that it will use to heal itself, which will drag the battle on longer than it should be.

Conversely, destroying the pot will not only prevent Churldric's healing, but it will also cause it to explode, dealing significant DMG to it.

This pot is considered a Geo construct, so the most effective element against it is Geo. Defeating Churldric as he is mixing the pot without destroying it is an achievement, so be sure to try and do so!

Avoid the Falling Fruits

Avoid Falling Fruits

While they may seem harmless, the fruits that Churldric will summon from the sky to fall down on you can actually cause heavy DMG.

When you see those prediction lines, be sure to react swiftly and avoid them at all costs.

Avoid Plunging Attacks

Another attack of Churldric's that you should watch out for is its plunging attacks.

It will leap into the air and do three plunging attacks at your immediate location. Once again, once you see those prediction lines, act accordingly!

Churldric is one of the Valiant Chronicles and Local Legends. However, unlike most of its peers, it is located in Mondstadt, just north of Cider Lake.

Just like most overworld enemies, you will have to wait until the next day for Churldric to respawn. After defeating the enemy, you can fight it again after the next server reset.

2 things :1. Apparently there is a glitch with zibai where the pot can just disappear instead of breaking and doesn't work. Ppl were reporting it happening as recently as a month ago, and #2. From everything I've seen online, pyro actually speeds up the pot and everyone says not to bring pyro. I noticed the varesa mav team and wondered if that's true because it seems like you would want pyro if that's the case?
