The Eleven Fatui Harbingers

Discovering Tartaglia

When Ajax was young, before he became known as Childe or Tartaglia, he fell into an abyss and came back a different person. He was more bloodthirsty and craved for battle, which made his father decided to send him to the Fatui to be disciplined. Instead of being disciplined though, Tartaglia ended up defeating any of the soldiers who faced him.

His skill and prowess in battle caught the eye of Pulcinella and recruited him officially into the Fatui starting from the very of the bottom of the ranks, as his ''punishment''.

Character In-Game Thoughts
Genshin Impact - Arlecchino ImageArlecchino About The Rooster
The Rooster holds little love for me, and the feeling is mutual. He is an acceptable mayor, I suppose... perhaps even an exceptional one. He has an uncanny ability to make great gains at a small price, which has earned him substantial acclaim throughout his political circles. However "small" the price may be, if it continues to come at the expense of my organization, sooner or later... Hmph.
Genshin Impact - Columbina ImageColumbina I can teach you to talk just like him — all you have to do is combine the words "money," "that darn Pantalone," and "mark my words." Here, I'll show you. "Where's the money? Mark my words, I'm going to kill that darn Pantalone." Or, "That darn Pantalone is going to cough up the money, mark my words." See? Isn't that fascinating?
Genshin Impact - Sandrone ImageSandrone He's the chairman of the Snezhnograd Veche, though he often feels more like ... its overseer. Every vote cast in the Evaluation Council affects the interests of countless factions. Reconciling so many competing concerns can only be achieved by the shrewdest of operators. Once you understand this, you start to realize just how terrifying he really is.
Genshin Impact - Tartaglia ImageTartaglia About The Rooster
I don't know what his motivations could be, but he seems genuine about wanting to help me. He treats me just like family. Oh, and speaking of family — Tonia and Teucer are always telling me about the pastries and other gifts he brings them when they write. So while I've been away from Snezhnaya, he's kept his promise to take care of my family.
Genshin Impact - Wanderer ImageWanderer About The Rooster
Only someone as dense as Childe would think The Rooster is looking after him and his family out of the goodness of his heart. Although the mayor has indeed done a number of things for their benefit, anyone with a brain would be able to tell that the underlying meaning is "your entire family is in my hands."
