Flamberge is the best weapon for Rain because it provides a solid increase to Physical Attack while also raising his HP by 140. This makes it especially useful for his frontline role. Pair it with Surcoat to further increase his survivability with another 80 HP and strong defensive stats.

If you haven't completed the Dream of an Idealist quest yet, then the alternative will be Claymore, which offers nearly the same attack stats as Flamberge but lacks its HP bonus. For armor, Black Garb trades defense for +8 Speed, making it an option if you want Rain to act sooner instead of maximizing his durability.

Iwakirimaru is a well-rounded weapon for Lasswell, providing Physical Attack, Magic Attack, and an additional 20 MP. The extra MP is useful for sustaining his abilities throughout longer battles. Surcoat helps compensate for his lower durability by providing strong defensive stats and additional HP.

If you prefer more physical damage, Sakura-Fubuki is a strong alternative, offering +43 Physical Attack compared to Iwakirimaru's +37. However, it doesn't provide the extra MP. You can also equip Black Garb instead of Surcoat to gain +8 Speed, which helps Lasswell take turns sooner at the cost of lower defenses.

Crescent Bow is a strong weapon for Fina because it provides a balanced increase to Physical Attack and Magic Attack alongside +20 Sanctity. Since Sanctity is important for her healing and Light-element abilities, this helps her contribute to the party's offense and support. Pair it with Spirit Veil for additional Sanctity and high Magic Defense.

If you want to prioritize Sanctity over attack stats, Floral Arc is a good alternative, offering +32 Sanctity despite its lower attack stats. Meanwhile, Cotton Robe provides the same defensive stats as Spirit Veil but grants +20 MP instead of Sanctity, making it useful if you want Fina to have more MP for healing and other abilities.
