Demo Transfer Automatic

You can transfer your demo save data to the full version by starting the game on the same console and profile where you plaed the demo.

The game will automatically detect and inform you that you have an existing save data from the demo if you have one.

If you played the demo on a different platform or profile, you will not be able to transfer your save file. Make sure to get the game on the same platform and profile to carry over your demo save data to the full version.

What Does the Demo Carry Over?

Carries Over the Most Recent Save

The Chapter 1 demo carries over all of your progress to the full game, allowing you to continue from where you last left off, provided that you have played and saved your progress.

Save Data Won't Load in Switch 2

Switch 1 Version Demo Does Not Carry Over to Switch 2 Version

Be careful when choosing the correct version of the demo you want to play. The demo saved file will only be carried over to the same version of the fully released game.

Meaning, the Switch 1 Version of the demo will not be carried over to the Switch 2 Version of the full game and vice versa because the games are incompatible with each other.
