Complete the Secrets Unearthed side quest.
Magicite Shard 4 Location
Magicite Shard 4
Location: Grandport Harbor
After defeating the Siren at Siren's Tower, head to Grandport Harbor to activate a cutscene with the Moogle of Light to get the Magicite Shard automatically.

Location: Grandport Harbor
Complete the Rear Support, Ahoy! side quest.
Magicite Shard 2 Location
Magicite Shard 2
Location: Siren's Tower
Past where you fought Gilgamesh, follow the western curved path.
Magicite Shard 3 Location

Location: Siren's Tower
Defeat the Siren at Siren's Tower to obtain the Magicite Shard. The shard will appear on the Battle Result screen and in your inventory.

Defeat the Marauder at Marauder Cave.

Location: Oblivion Palace
Give 3 Tablet Shards to the Enigmatic Princess and enter the 1-Star Chamber. Open the treasure chest marked with the III label to obtain the Magicite Shard.

Location: Mobliz Shipyard
Complete Arise, Mechabo! side quest.
Magicite Shard 9 Location

Location: Mobliz Shipyard
Complete Lyrical Riddles side quest.

Location: Wind Shrine
After taking the elevator down, head to the path southeast until you find a brown ladder. Go down the ladder and head west to find the treasure chest.
Magicite Shard 11 Location

Location: Cave of Waters
Go to the area with the boat ride across maze. Ride the boat and head north to reach the treasure chest containing the Magicite Shard.
Magicite Shard 12 Location

Location: Lake Dorr
Obtain as a reward for defeating Leviathan.
Magicite Shard 13 Location
Magicite Shard 13
Location: Water Shrine
Go to the area with the large waterfall and the boat. Board the boat and enter the hidden opening on the right side behind the waterfall. Inside is a treasure chest containing a Magicite Shard.

How to Use Magicites

Talk to the Moogle of Light to Awaken Visions

Moogle of Light

You can use the Magicites that you have collected to awaken your Visions. Find the Moogle of Light at the Grandport Harbor and talk to it to open the Vision Enhancement screen.

From there, you can upgrade your Visions three times as indicated by the star below their names. See the table below for the type of Magicite required for each upgrade level.
