This build focuses on maximizing Rain's survivability while allowing him to protect the rest of the party. Warrior of Light is an excellent Vision for this role, as it provides defensive abilities and additional options for dealing damage and recovering HP.
Flamberge increases Rain's maximum HP, while Surcoat provides a solid defensive option. Vitality Charm, which is obtainable by collecting 3 Tablet Shards, further increases his HP, and Bulletproof Vest boosts his Physical Defense. Together, these pieces help Rain withstand physical attacks while drawing enemy attention away from his allies.
Prioritize starting the battle with Vanguard Glaive to deal Light physical damage and inflict Provoke. You should also unlock Warrior of Light's defensive abilities, including Multi-Cover and Physical Counter, to help Rain protect his allies and retaliate against physical attacks.

Cloud's Vision turns Rain into a more offensive DPS attacker, giving him access to Lightning and Water attacks that can exploit enemy weaknesses and build up Stagger Gauges. This setup lets Rain contribute more damage while retaining the durability expected of a Sentinel.
Flamberge and Vitality Charm provide additional HP to help Rain survive while fighting on the front lines. Keep Surcoat equipped for defense, and use Stagger Ring, which is obtained by collecting 12 Tablet Shards, to support the build's focus on breaking enemies.
Prioritize Cloud's elemental Surge abilities to build up Stagger, then take advantage of his critical-hit bonuses to deal more damage. Cloud's passive abilities also reward keeping Rain at full HP, so pair this build with a healer who can keep him healthy. Continue using Rain's defensive abilities when necessary to protect your party while creating opportunities to stagger enemies.

Cloud is an excellent Vision for Lasswell because both of them specialize in breaking enemies. This build combines Lasswell's high Speed with Cloud's Lightning and Water attacks to exploit elemental weaknesses and deplete Stagger Gauges quickly.
Iwakirimaru, which is obtained through the Weight of Mercy side quest, increases Lasswell's MP, while Black Garb provides an additional Speed boost. Stagger Ring supports his Stagger-focused playstyle, and Idaten's Shoes further improve his Speed.
Prioritize Cloud's Thunder Surge and Water Surge to deal Stagger damage against enemies weak to those elements. You can also equip passives such as Restore MP on Stagger, Restore HP on Stagger, and Physical Counter to improve Lasswell's sustainability during battle. Once the Limit Burst gauge fills up, use Lasswell's No Moon to make enemies easier to stagger, then follow up with attacks that exploit their elemental weaknesses.

Tronn gives Lasswell access to Fire, Ice, and Lightning attacks, allowing him to target a wider range of elemental weaknesses. This build also benefits from Tronn's passive bonuses to Stagger Power and MP, making it a good alternative when you need additional elemental coverage.
Keep Iwakirimaru and Black Garb equipped to support Lasswell's MP and Speed. Stagger Ring helps reinforce his role, while Idaten's Shoes let him act more frequently.
Prioritize elemental abilities that target the enemy's weaknesses, along with passives such as Restore MP on Stagger and Magic Boost. Tronn's increased Stagger Power helps Lasswell contribute to breaking enemies even when using elemental magic.Focus on one dangerous enemy at a time when possible. Concentrating your attacks on a single Stagger Gauge can disable that enemy sooner than spreading your damage across several opponents.

Terra shifts Lasswell's focus from breaking enemies to dealing powerful elemental magic damage. Her Vision provides Fire, Ice, and Water attacks, along with passive bonuses that increase Magic Attack and Magic Defense.
This setup prioritizes Speed to help Lasswell act early and apply debuffs before his allies attack. Equipping two Idaten's Shoes further emphasizes this strategy, while Iwakirimaru and Black Garb retain the MP and Speed benefits of the other builds.
Prioritize Magic Boost and abilities that exploit elemental weaknesses. You can also use abilities that inflict debuffs to help your party deal more damage to affected enemies. This build is especially useful when your party needs additional elemental damage. However, because it relies on magic attacks rather than maximizing Stagger, consider switching back to Cloud or Tronn when breaking enemies is your main priority.

The Healer Build is the safest option for beginners who want to keep their party alive during difficult battles. Leah's Vision provides Fina with healing spells, defensive abilities, and Light magic attacks that scale with Sanctity.
Floral Arc increases Fina's Sanctity, strengthening her healing spells and Light magic damage. Spirit Veil provides an additional Sanctity boost, while two Mage's Glasses increase her MP pool so she can cast more spells before running out of MP.
Prioritize Cure and Shell to keep your allies healthy and protected. You can also use Banish against enemies weak to Light. Leah's Healing Wind Resonance skill heals all allies and applies Regen, making it particularly useful when your entire party needs recovery. For additional support, equip abilities such as Restore HP on Stagger, Healing Magic +30%, and Pass the Torch. This setup lets Fina focus on healing while still contributing damage whenever the party is safe.

This build turns Fina into a hybrid healer and magic attacker. Terra's Vision gives her access to Fire, Ice, and Water magic, allowing her to exploit different enemy weaknesses while retaining her ability to support the party.
Keep Floral Arc and Spirit Veil equipped to increase Fina's Sanctity, while Mage's Glasses provide additional MP for casting spells. This equipment setup supports her ability to switch between healing and offensive magic throughout battle.
Prioritize Terra's elemental spells and Magic Boost to increase her magic damage. You can also use Focus Magic to further support her offensive role. Terra's Riot Blade Resonance skill deals non-elemental magic damage to all enemies, making it useful against groups. Terra also provides the Tenebrous Rite passive, which increases magic damage against enemies affected by debuffs or negative status effects. Take advantage of this bonus by applying debuffs before attacking with an element the enemy is weak to.

The Stagger Build focuses on depleting enemy Stagger Gauges while allowing Fina to continue healing when needed. Tronn's Vision gives her access to Fire, Ice, and Lightning magic, providing more ways to exploit elemental weaknesses.
Floral Arc and Spirit Veil boost Fina's Sanctity, while Mage's Glasses help sustain her MP usage. Stagger Ring increases Stagger Power, making it a useful alternative to the second Mage Glasses when you want to focus more on breaking enemies.
Prioritize Tronn's elemental spells and the Stagger Power passive to help deplete enemy Stagger Gauges. You can also equip Restore MP on Stagger to recover MP whenever an enemy is staggered, helping Fina maintain her offensive pressure throughout longer encounters. Use Fina's healing spells whenever your party needs support, then return to targeting enemy weaknesses to build up Stagger.
