Multicasting spells allows you to target multiple enemies or allies in Final Fantasy Resonance (FF Resonance). Learn what multicasting is, as well as when to utilize it.

What is Multicasting?
Target Multiple Enemies or Allies with Spells
Multicasting allows you to target multiple enemies or allies at once with your spells.
Black magic spells like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder (and their stronger variants), as well as white magic spells like Cure, can be used to target multiple targets.
Spells Have Reduced Effectiveness When Multicasting
While multicasting a spell allows you to target multiple enemies at once, its effects will be weaker than if you cast it on a single target. This means that even if enemies are weak to Fire, casting the spell against all of them at once will still deal lower damage to each individual target.
When to Do Multicast
Multicast When All Enemy Stagger Gauges Are Low
Multicast offensive spells against all enemies when their stagger gauge is low. Staggering everyone simultaneously triggers Sweeping Stagger. During this phase, all party members grant an extra turn, concluding with Resonance—special moves performed by Visions.
