Equip Visions and increase your character's AP to use abilities in Final Fantasy Resonance (FF Resonance). Learn what abilities are, how to get them, and how to equip them.
How to Equip Abilities
Equip in Equipment and Abilities
You can equip abilities by accessing the Equipment and Abilities option in the menu. From there, go to Abilities and select an ability you have unlocked. Each requires a certain amount of AP to equip, so ensure you have enough AP available for your build.
Increase Your AP
You can increase your AP by equipping Visions and leveling up their Mastery Rank through combat. Reaching certain Mastery Ranks will grant a permanent boost to your character's AP—even when that specific Vision is no longer equipped.
How to Get Abilities
Equip Visions and Increase Mastery Rank
Equipping Visions allows you to use their abilities without spending AP.
However, if you want to use a Vision's Abilities without equipping that specific Vision, you must first increase its Mastery Rank by defeating enemies and earning Mastery Rank Points.
Leveling up a Vision's Mastery Rank allows you to equip its Abilities even when the Vision itself is no longer being actively used.
What are Abilities?
Passives and Skills that You Can Equip
Abilities are passive or usable skills that you can equip as long as you have enough AP.
For example, you can equip an Ability that refills some of your MP when you stagger an enemy.
