Best Skills and Abilities to Equip

Multi-Cover, Magic Counter, and Physical Counter Combo

This skill and ability combo is best suited for Sentinel characters such as Rain.

To unlock this combo, have Rain equip Warrior of Light and level up the Vision to MR 5. This lets you equip the Physical Counter and Multicover skills in the ability slots. Swap out Warrior of Light with Terra to eqiup the Magic Counter as a passive skill.

During battles, have Rain use Multi-Cover and buff him up with Protect and Shell. If an enemy performs an AoE attack, Rain will counterattack for each party member that will take damage. This also includes summoned Espers, allowing you to get a maximum of 5 counterattacks.

Restore HP/MP on Stagger and Critical Hit Combo

Restore HP MP on Stagger Combo

This skill combo works best for Breaker characters such as Lasswell as it allows him to self-sustain his HP and MP whenever he staggers an enemy.

You can also include additonal passive skills such as Restore MP on Critical Hit and Fill LB on Stagger and restore more MP and fill up the LB Gauge respectively.

Stagger Guide: How to Stagger Enemies Effectively

LB Double Charge and Fill Gauge Combo

You can equip both the LB Double Charge and Fill Gauge skills to a character if you wish to use their Limit Burst frequently in battle. In particular, this combo works well with Fina as her Holy Ray Limit Burst deals Light magic damage to all enemies and its power scales with her Sanctity stat.

If you have a party member with the Pass the Torch skill, you can use it to skip their turn and pass it onto the party member equipped with the LB Double Charge and Fill Gauge combo.
