This interactive map shows the locations of all Espers across the regions of Lapis.
| Esper | Overview |
|---|---|
Bahamut
|
Location: Prologue Effect: Summon Bahamut, lord of the heavens. Stays in battle for 3 turns. |
Siren
|
Location: Siren's Tower Effect: Summon Siren, adorer of winds. Stays in battle for 3 turns. |
|
|
Location: Mt. Thunderclap Effect: Summon Ramuh, master of lightning. Stays in battle for 3 turns. |
|
|
Location: Ruby Cave Effect: Summon Carbuncle, the crimson gem. Stays in battle for 3 turns. |

You can start summoning espers after defeating Siren at the top of Siren's Tower during Chapter 1, which will also function as your first usable Esper.
This boss encounter is part of the main story, so continue progressing through the demo until you reach the tower and challenge her.

Only Fina can summon Espers in battle. Each summon costs 50 MP, so make sure she has enough MP before using the ability.
Once summoned, an Esper fights alongside your party for three turns before unleashing its finishing attack and leaving the battlefield.

Espers are powerful beings that you can summon during battle to help your party. Unlike Visions, which characters equip to gain abilities and bonuses, Espers temporarily join the fight and use their own attacks and abilities before performing a finishing move.
Each Esper has its own abilities, making summons useful for dealing additional damage or gaining an advantage during difficult encounters. You can unlock more Espers as you progress through the main story and complete optional content in the full game.
