Players can change the difficulty via the Options menu in Final Fantasy Resonance (FF Resonance). Learn how to change difficulties, what each difficulty level does, and find out if you can change difficulties in-game here!

How to Change Difficulty
Go to Options, Under Gameplay
Players can access the difficulty settings by opening the Options menu. The Difficulty setting is the first thing on the list under Gameplay.
All Difficulty Levels
Casual, Normal, Expert
| Difficulty Level | Description |
|---|---|
| Casual | For those who want a story-centric experience. Battles are easier. |
| Normal | For those who want a balanced experience. Normal difficulty battles. |
| Expert | For those who like a challenge. Battles are harder and awared more MRP. |
There are three difficulty levels players can choose from. Casual difficulty offers easier battles and is recommended for players who are more interested in the story.
Normal difficulty is the standard difficulty for the game and provides a middle ground for players who want more engaging battles and story immersion.
Expert difficulty is the hardest difficulty out of the three options. Enemies in this difficulty level are stronger, but give more rewards in return; perfect for players who are most engaged in battles and strategy.
Can You Change Difficulty In-Game?
You Can Change the Difficulty
After selecting a difficulty on a new game, the game gives players the option to change difficulty levels in the middle of the playthrough should the initially chosen difficulty doesn't fit the player's preferences.
