How to Beat The Hunger
Watch Out for the Second Phase
Even if this is a pretty early game boss, there will be a second phase after you take down its first HP bar. Make sure to preserve your items and MP so that you don't run out of resources when the boss transitions to phase 2.
Use Ice and Light Attacks

Lasswell
Tronn
Terra
Fina
Leah
Warrior of LightDuring the boss' first phase, you'll mainly want to use Lasswell, Tronn, or Terra to exploit the boss' Ice weakness. However, once it transitions to phase 2, you will want to swap over to Fina, Leah, or WoL as your attackers since the boss will become weak to Light attacks instead.
Defeat Extra Enemies First in Phase 2
Once the boss transitions over to phase 2, it will spawn two Enhanced Wraith Soldiers to fight alongside it. Make sure to kill them with super-effective Light attacks first so that you can focus all your damage on the boss to maximize your damage and stagger output.
One trick that you can use to defeat them quickly is to stagger and kill the boss during phase 1 so that it transitions and summons the adds during your Bonus Phase. This way, you'll be able to target and kill them before they can even act.
