While most Call of Duty games are known for the Multiplayer feature, Call of Duty Black Ops presents one of the franchise's best written storylines in its Campaign, along with one of the most memorable plot twists in gaming. Black Ops also features the Kino Der Toten map for its Zombies mode, which is arguably the franchise's most memorable and iconic map.

This was my first Call of Duty game so perhaps I'm biased. But it was always the games set in different time periods that made me more interested in them. Watching the story unravel to its plot twists was extremely satisfying, and I've had a lot of fun in its multiplayer modes with friends.

The online on this one was good too. I still think it's the best masterpiece of the CoD series. The weapons, skills, and map design were all well balanced.

Halo 3 puts players back in the shoes of Master Chief as the game looks so close the story of the first Halo trilogy. It features a lengthy campaign that can be both played Solo or with up to 3 other players. The multiplayer also received a lot of improvements from the previous titles as it included a lot of tools to truly customize your experience with things like the Forge, which allows you to make your own custom game modes.

Halo 4 is a Sci-Fi First Person Shooter game that features the return of Master Chief, but instead of his usual grandiose and heroics, features a more introspective storyline that dives deeper into the relationship between Master Chief and Cortana. Halo 4 also features improved graphics and art design, making each chapter feel more like a cinematic experience, rather than just a game level. Despite the mixed reception from longtime fans, Halo 4 has one of the most rewarding easter eggs in the Master Chief unmasked cutscene, which can only be viewed by clearing the game in its hardest difficulty.

Left 4 Dead is a co-op shooter game where you fight hordes of zombies to survive. Each playthrough is not the same, for an AI director provides different campaigns with each run. For groups of players who want intense and strategic FPS, this game keeps you on your toes as you face and wrestle with variants of zombies to get to safety.

A die-and-retry game where an unbelievable number of zombies come at you. Playing on low difficulty is heresy, so I'd want you to play on high difficulty in a state of pandemonium. It's hard enough to make you want to quit, but I'd want you to pull through it with friends.

Halo 2 is a First Person Shooter where you take on the roles of Spartan Soldier Master Chief and disgraced Elite commander Arbiter, as they both play their parts in uncovering the lies of the Covenant's Prophets after their invasion of Earth. It features a narrative that switches between their perspectives, providing clear context for the two opposing forces as they slowly join forces to defeat a bigger enemy. Halo: Reach is a prequel to the entire series, telling the tragic story of Noble Team as they try their best to defend Reach while accomplishing their own mission. It presents a darker perspective on struggle. To win the battles but ultimately lose the war. You play as Noble Six, the newest addition to Noble Team, as the team helps out with the futile defense of Reach. The game refines and refreshes the multiplayer experience with the addition of armor abilities and remains one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experiences in the series.
