Is Rin Tohsaka Worth Pulling?
Rin Tohsaka is a Quantum DPS that can be used in two ways. She can be used as a Sub-DPS for Archer, or a Main DPS that focuses on her Skill DMG.
Sub-DPS Rin Tohsaka provides DMG buffs and extra Skill Points in which Archer can fully take advantage of. This significantly increases Archer's overall damage.
Rin can also work as a Main DPS especially if you have her E1 and Cerydra.
With this in mind, we recommend pulling for Rin Tohsaka if you have a heavily invested Archer, or want to vertically invest in her Main DPS role.
Should You Pull for Rin Tohsaka's Light Cone?
Rin Tohsaka's Light Cone, Flickering Stars, increases her CRIT Rate and helps allies ignore enemy DEF. When an ally consumes at least four Skill Points, the party can ignore enemy DEF and Rin's Skill DMG will increase.
Flickering Stars is a huge upgrade for Rin Tohsaka's Sub-DPS and Main DPS roles. If you want to save up for other characters or Light Cones, you can opt with other Light Cones such as Into the Unreachable Veil or Today Is Another Peaceful Day.
If you're building Rin Tohsaka as a Main DPS, we recommend getting her E1 first before getting this Light Cone.

For all builds, Rin Tohsaka's best Relic set is the Genius of Brilliant Stars for the DEF Ignore against Quantum Weak enemies.
If you're building Rin Tohsaka as a Sub-DPS for Archer, her best Ornament is the Penacony, Land of Dreams set since this increases the team's Quantum DMG. Use SPD Boots and Energy Regen Rope for Sub-DPS Rin for faster access to her Ultimate's damage amplification.
For Main DPS Rin Tohsaka, her best ornament set is Tengoku Livestream for the CRIT DMG stats and damage buffs from consuming Skill Points. ATK Boots and Rope are recommended to maximize her overall damage.

For Rin's Speed stat, we recommend having her at least 140 SPD to have her reach the 160 SPD Breakpoint thanks to her Ladylike Poise Bonus Ability. If you're using Rin as a Main DPS, having 120 SPD is enough since Cerydra will provide 20 more SPD during combat.
Make sure Rin's SPD stat is higher than Sparkle's for both Sub-DPS and Main DPS builds. This allows Rin to reset her Joint ATK with Archer before a cycle ends or have more turns if she's the Main DPS.
For Crit Stats, prioritize getting as close to 100% CRIT Rate on Rin Tohsaka for more consistent damage. Rin can get CRIT DMG from her Trace Nodes, but do try to get 140% CRIT DMG for overall damage.

For Rin Tohsaka's F2P team, you can pair her up with Archer since her kit synergizes amazingly with him. Sparkle is Rin's best Support unit since she provides Skill Points for the entire party and can turn advance Archer.
For the fourth slot, you can use any Sustain unit here. Permansor Terrae is a free-to-play option you can use to provide shields and increase ATK.

Rin Tohsaka can be used as a Main DPS without Archer. Sparkle is still being used here for more Skill Points and turn advance. For this setup, Rin Tohsaka should have a higher SPD stat than Sparkle to have her attack more often in a single wave.
For other units, Cerydra is an amazing option since she can allow Rin to use her Enhanced Skill twice. Huohuo is used here for Energy Restoration and ATK buffs.

Ultimate Deals AoE Damage and Recovers SP
Rin Tohsaka's Ultimate deals damage to all enemies and also recovers 1 Skill Point.
Enhanced Skill Deals Damage to All Enemies
After reaching enough Gem Energy, Rin Tohsaka's Skill gets enhanced. Her Enhanced Skill deals damage to all enemies and consumes Gem Energy to deal extra instances of damage. The more Gem Energy she has, the more instances of damage her Enhanced Skill provides.
Rin Tohsaka can also consume Skill Points when there is enough during her Enhanced Skill to immediately gain extra Gem Energy.
Talent Increases CRIT DMG and Gem Energy
Rin Tohsaka's Talent increases her CRIT DMG and gives her Gem Energy whenever one of her allies uses or recovers Skill Points. Her Talent also allows her to launch a Follow-Up ATK when Archer is on the team. This also recovers one Skill Point.
Technique Grants Extra Gem Energy
Rin Tohsaka's Technique grants her extra Gem Energy at the start of the battle.
