| The stats indicated above are Ashveil's base values. These numbers do not include the character's equipped Light Cone, Relics, or activated Trace nodes. |
Ashveil's pull value will depend on the characters you already have. If you have premium Follow-up units like Feixiao, or generalist Supports like Sunday and Tribbie, Ashveil is worth pulling for the Follow-up Attacks and the damage he dishes out.
You can consider skipping Ashveil if you don't plan on building a Follow-up attack-centric team.
Ashveil's Light Cone, The Finale of a Lie, provides the wearer with a huge CRIT Rate stat. This also increases Ashveil's ATK and the damage taken by enemies after using Follow-up attacks.
Ashveil's Light Cone provides a considerable damage buff for Follow-up attack teams, but you can make do with other Light Cones, such as Cruising in the Stellar Sea.

As a Follow-Up ATK DPS, Ashveil's best Relic set is the Ashblazing Grand Duke for the Follow-Up ATK DMG and bonus ATK% whenever he does a Follow-Up Attack. Ashveil's Planar Ornament is City of Converging Stars since it increases his ATK, and provides CRIT DMG to the entire party.
Ashveil primarily wants CRIT and ATK% stats to enhance the damage of his Follow-Up Attacks.
| Stat | Recommended Value |
|---|---|
| ATK | 3000 or more |
| CRIT Rate | As close to 100% |
| CRIT DMG | 150% or above |
For Ashveil's stats, get as close to 100% CRIT Rate as you can since he can only hit enemies once. Ashveil gets a lot of CRIT DMG from his Traces, but try to get around 150% CRIT DMG or above for optimal damage.

|---|---|
| Basic ATK | Talons: Inculcate Decorum: Deals Lightning DMG equal to 50% of Ashveil's ATK to one designated enemy.
Stat Bonus: 1. ATK +4.0% |
| Skill | Flog: Smite Evil: Makes one designated enemy become the "Bait," dealing it Lightning DMG equal to 100% of Ashveil's ATK. If the target is already the "Bait," additionally deals it Lightning DMG equal to 50% of Ashveil's ATK, and recovers 1 Skill Point(s). When the "Bait" exists on the field, all enemies' DEF gets reduced by 20%. When there is no "Bait" on the field, Ashveil immediately makes the enemy target with the lowest HP on the field become the "Bait." The "Bait" state only takes effect on the most recently applied target.
Stat Bonus: 1. CRIT DMG +8.0% |
| Ultimate | Banquet: Insatiable Appetite: Makes one designated enemy become the "Bait," dealing it Lightning DMG equal to 200% of Ashveil's ATK. Then, immediately launches 1 instance of enhanced Talent's Follow-Up ATK against the "Bait." And Ashveil gains 3 Charge. This enhanced Talent's Follow-Up ATK does not consume Charge. Whenever "Gluttony" reaches 4 stack(s) or more, consumes 4 stack(s) of "Gluttony" to additionally deal 1 instance of Lightning DMG equal to 100% of Ashveil's ATK. And when this instance of Follow-Up ATK deals a killing blow to the target, it will continue to deal DMG to a new "Bait." This triggers until "Gluttony" becomes lower than 4 stack(s). If all enemy targets currently on the field have been dealt killing blows, the enhanced Talent's Follow-Up ATK will immediately end. |
| Talent | Rancor: Enmity Reprisal: Ashveil has an initial Charge of 2 and can hold up to a max of 3. After the "Bait" gets attacked by other ally targets, Ashveil regenerates a fixed amount of 8 Energy, then consumes 1 Charge to launch Follow-Up ATK against the "Bait," dealing Lightning DMG equal to 100% of Ashveil's ATK. Afterwards, gains 2 stack(s) of "Gluttony," stacking up to 12 time(s). |
| Trace | Scaling and Explanation |
|---|---|
| Technique | Devour: O Loathsome Hand: After using Technique, inflicts Daze on enemies within a set area for 10 second(s). Dazed enemies will not actively attack ally targets. When entering combat via actively attacking a Dazed enemy, deals Lightning DMG to all enemies equal to 100% of Ashveil's ATK, and grants Ashveil 1 Charge.
Stat Bonus: 1. CRIT DMG +5.3% |
| Bonus Ability | First Fang: While Ashveil is on the field, CRIT DMG dealt by ally targets increases by 40%, and CRIT DMG dealt by ally target's Follow-Up ATK additionally increases by 80%.
Stat Bonus: 1. ATK +6.0% 2. Lightning DMG +6.4% 3. CRIT DMG +10.7% |
| Bonus Ability | Phantom Limb: DMG dealt by Ashveil's Follow-Up ATK increases by 80%. And for every 1 stack(s) of "Gluttony" in possession, DMG dealt by Follow-Up ATK additionally increases by 10%.
Stat Bonus: 1. CRIT DMG +8.0% 2. Lightning DMG +4.8% |
| Bonus Ability | Damnation Trail: When Ashveil uses Skill/Ultimate, gains 1/ 2 stacks of "Gluttony." During Ashveil's Follow-Up ATK, for every 1 enemy(ies) suffer a killing blow, Ashveil gains 1 stack(s) of "Gluttony."

Ashveil's Skill deals Lightning DMG to a designated enemy and marks them as Bait. If the selected target is already marked as Bait, Ashveil will deal additional Lightning DMG to the target and recover a Skill Point. If Bait is present on the field, all enemies' DEF is also reduced.

Ashveil's Talent allows him to stack Charge that can be consumed to launch a Follow-Up Attack against Bait every time it's attacked by an ally. When a Charge is consumed, Ashveil also regenerates Energy and gains stacks of Gluttony.

Ashveil's Ultimate can also mark an enemy as Bait and deal a stronger amount of Lightning DMG to it. Ashveil will also launch a Follow-Up Attack immediately after and gain more stacks of Charge.
While Ashveil has Gluttony, every 4 stacks of it that's consumed can deal an additional instance of Lightning DMG. If the target has already been defeated by these Follow-Up Attacks, Ashveil will continue to deal DMG to a new Bait until Gluttony becomes less than 4 stacks.

Ashveil's Technique dazes enemies when it is used and also gives him a point of Charge.
